If congress calls these people to testify, they will claim executive privilege and there will be no facts forth coming.  Suskin's tapes are the only thing that might help to pin these people down to testify. He has to state clearly, that he will release the tapes if Congress ask for them..or there is nothing that can be done.

Cheney was sitting in his office a few weeks ago saying that he thought it would be a great idea to have boat built that looked like the speed boats the Iranian navy uses and put a group of Navy SEALS in it and have it attack a US Ship. SWhats more, in the time before the iraq invasion started, cheney's use of the word "threat" seemed to be referring to anything that could possibly disrupt their plan to invade, such as the weapon's inspectors having unfettered access anywhere in iraq and suggesting they be given more time to either confirm or debunk the claims. ANY call for more verification or even for fresh intelligence, became a "threat" to the bush white house, because it might stop their dream to take control of iraq.
