  • Capitalism breeds war.

  • @flyingpenguinses Crony-capitalism breeds war. But I guess you forgot about Russia rolling its tanks all over Asia and Eastern Europe to create the USSR.

  • @zivjax Leninism is just a violent reaction to a violent system. I don't justify their violence either, but it seems pretty clear that the bolshevik atrocities were a knee-jerk reaction to a flawed system

  • @flyingpenguinses actually fiat money breeds war, which isn't capitalism. if there had been no federal reserve nearly every war if not all wars america has engaged in would not have been fought by us. you can't go to war if you don't control the money and the gov't controls the money

  • Google "Red Clothes Day Facebook"

  • Get people who don't think of themselves as "activists" to show support : RED CLOTHES DAY

    • Wear something red (eg tie)

    • February 15 2012

    OBJECTIVE

    • Remind people how they felt in Feb 2003 on the coming Iraq war

    • Encourage people to weigh the human cost after the event

    • Message to governments: people do not want wars (especially for spurious reasons like WMD)

    • If a "critical mass" is reached, people will look around and see that they are in the majority.

  • We lost. Can't win, don't try.

  • When Hillary clinton was running for president, she said her plan for iraq was to declare peace, and begin a "peace surge" . Today we officially have "peace" and we still have 10,000 guys there escorting the social workers, and infrastructure contractors around waiting for a terrorist to make a move. we are still giving foreign aid to the terrorist.

  • Obama is the opium of the anti-war movement-a master snake oil salesman.

  • Search this blocked term

The Election Song (Hell Of A Mess)

For those sick of both "parties"

    Real Change Needed...

  • Semper Fi and Oooh-Rah!

  • oh now their master is cutting on military funding, so those lazy ass people on welfare can get free money(NO NOT ALL BUT ALOT)

  • @LeLoupDriveIn amen

  • "He who wishes for peace must first prepare for war" - Vegetius. The men and women who truly oppose war are the ones who have taken up arms to fight it and end it. Anti-war movements have been on a decline, because they are a political agenda based on the oldest political fairy tale of all time in the US: the populist movement of the little guy standing up to the big guy. We remember those who sacrificed all in November so that their actions were not in vein, and do not have to be repeated.

  • @LeLoupDriveIn Yes, it worked well in 2001 didn't it?

  • War means that they send jocks to die overseas so that nerds could get richer. Everything else is just a puppet show.

  • @Quex01 Do have any idea how many soldiers have degrees from prestigious university and college institutions? The Royal Military College in Canada is one of the highest in the country, and it is only attended by those who wear the uniform. With today's Rules of Engagements becoming ever more political, the days of the simple minded brute soldier are long but gone. Todays war fighters are successful because they are intelligent, not simple "jocks".

  • The anti war movement was actually an anti bush movement. Big surprise.

  • Brian Doherty says it's unfortunate that Ron Paul supporters mix up their anti-war feelings with their End the Fed feelings - I guess he's ignorant of the Fed's role in war - The Fed funds the wars!! The shareholders of the Fed get rich from war and consolidate power into their own hands by war.

  • @katydig Wrong. China funds our wars! Ron Paul said so in the debate.

  • To the Left, race trumps values. There's a black guy in the White House and that is more important than being against war.

  • Vote Ron Paul!! If you actually wanna see this endless pointless "War" come to and end. He's been against the war since it started he didn't change or mix his beliefs to get the popular vote like Obama did. Hillary & Obama both supported the Iraq war when it started and then suddenly were against it? I love how people make liberals the Anti-War poster child, when through out history republicans have primarily been anti war and liberals pro.

  • /watch?v=6-_z5dS9u3c

  • Hey war is war,its bad but theres not much you can do about it!! Its human nature to be violent! Dont waste your time protesting when its not gonna happen! With the way things are going war is gonna be here a long time! Just live you life to the fullest!!!!!

  • I think that if there is enough awareness of the war, then an antiwar movement can come back again. If people make videos adapting songs from the 1960s to the current Wars (as I did with the Libyan war) and people are educated on the horrors of war, it may turn people around. I believe the antiwar movement is coming back and ReasonTV has it all wrong. The movement will come back stronger than ever and hopefully surprise the public.

  • Solution: Elect Ron Paul

  • the iraq war is supposed to end around the end of 2011 and the afghanistan war will end in 2014 if things go fast there

  • The antiwar movement failed because it was hijacked by advocates of fringe leftwing causes most Americans don't care about.

I saw the big 2003 NYC protests, but the most vocal of them at the forefront weren't the "No War" people, but the people demanding an end to Cuban sanctions, Palestinian sympathizers, anti-globalization activists and people unabashedly advocating Communism or an end to Capitalism in general.

What ordinary American would want to side with those people?

  • @comusnine Oh I don't know, perhaps the budget crisis right now where they are threatening to shut down the government AGAIN because the Republicans refuse to cooperate even though the Democrats have backed down on a lot of issues they felt were important. Then there is the lack of jobs but no one in the federal or state governments seem to really care about that as they are doing their damnedest to remove the rights of women everywhere.

  • it's called LIBERAL HYPOCRISY. minus those still protesting. when the bombs have D's on them, they change their principles. I laughed my ass off when Milia Lazu went on Fox News and said the Libyan effort was "to spread democracy" THAT'S WHAT BUSH SAID ABOUT IRAQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and she was on record as being opposed to that war! LMFAO.

  • Obama + Bush = Same old puppet. How liberals can worship Odrama is fascinatingly shallow. Hahah - I saw one of those bumper stickers the other day. A peace sign as the "O" in Obama. what F'ing morons these people are.

  • All leave is cancelled, my brother I must fight you again, all treaties broken, does humanity have a best friend?

  • The 'anti-war' movement isn't really anti-war since they side with Islamo-fascists on almost every issue.

  • @preemptivestrike20 "Islamo-fascists" LOL Talk about clueless. Turn of Fox News; better yet, turn off your zionist controlled television. Wake up and smell the False Flag Terror that ISRAEL perpetrated to sucker you into these illegal & immoral wars in the first place!

  • @amagee590 I love when you nutcases say "wake up". Whenever someone says that, there is a 99.9% chance that batshit insane nonsense will follow. Also, If you're gunna be a real conspiracy theorist kook, you need to spell FOX News "Faux News" Happy trolling, mental case; seek help.

  • @preemptivestrike20 islamo fascism is fear mongering...

  • @Madfoot713 Yes, Islamo Fascists are fear mongers, I agree. Not only that, they are murderous criminals who need to be eradicated.

  • @preemptivestrike20 sooo genocide?

  • @Madfoot713 You're naive and a fucking idiot. Stop talking to me, retard.

  • @preemptivestrike20 I'm naive because you're genocidal?

  • @Madfoot713 If you think that killing Islamic Fascist is genocide then you don't know the meaning of the word "genocide" Please fuck off and kill yourself. You are irredeemably stupid. Or better yet, join these Islamists so we can be rid of you. I honestly feel like I'm speaking to a half retarded little girl. Stop talking to me.

  • Actually I think people came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter how many protestors are out in the streets, the U.S. Govt will NOT listen and doesn't care what the American people want. They don't work for the American people unless you are some corporation, billionaire or multi-million........otherwise they don't care to listen to you. Most of the politicians are corrupt and are only in congress to steal our tax dollars. We have to look at other alternatives.

  • Chris Matthews gets chills down his legs when his president bombs civilians.

  • 5:45 ... Ron Paul is aware that having a Fed that monetizes the wars and itself profits from Military Industrial Complex Contracts.

Of course you have to mix your economic principles against the sorry foreign policies.

  • No more underhanded Repubs or Lame Dems.

RON PAUL is our only choice

  • Liberals are hypocrites?..Get outta here!

  • Add the Consistent Life Ethicists to the list of consistent peaceniks. Pro-Life, Pro-Peace.

  • None of those protesters can say they hate war until they've witnessed it's blood and guts like I have. Veterans however who have seen the blood and guts, and had the nightmares and the sleepless nights, they have the right to speak out. I took one side in the war, the side of my brothers who kept me safe and alive, and who took their own lives to make sure I can say what I say today.

  • why has he not STOPPED THE WAR? god its not that hard!

  • Anti war liberals are the most hypocritical of all Americans. Where are they now? Their King Obama has more troops in the middle east than EVER under Bush. LOL! Proves one thing: They really arent anti war - they were just anti Bush. Morons. No credibility. Its why Olbermann was fired from MSNBS...he dogged Obama on these horrible wars. Olbermann wasnt a good robot liberal and he paid dearly. Maddow has lost alllllllllllllllllllllllll credibility as has Chris "Obama chills" Matthews.

  • @TThirdplaneTT Some of us are anti war and anti obama.. drop your dumb stereotypes and grow up.

  • @TThirdplaneTT Where are we now? Still being ignored. All of this, is going to come back and bite us in the ass and every one of us will share responsibility. Note that we're not simply anti-war. We're against unnecessary, illegal wars. What we're doing in right now is a reason to go to war. You people really overreacted. Use the 2nd amendment or the judicial system to kill terrorists, not our Military. We should all feel ashamed for allowing this to happen. We really fucked up.

  • Google "Are Evangelical Christians Warmongers" by Pastor Chuck Baldwin for an eye-opener.

I sent MONEY to Ron Paul's campaign!

  • Believe me, many of my more liberally minded friends are not at all happy with what is going on with Libya. In fact, one of them pointed out that Obama used the exact same words Bush used when we went in to Iraq. Congress gave the President the power to go after terror in all it's forms after 9/11. He's just using that power. We aren't protesting because we have so many other things to be concerned about right now in our government.

  • If Obama is bombing Libya because of 'humanitarian" efforts why the hell isn't he bombing the Muslim government in Darfur who are systematically wiping out the Christians people in Dafur and why isn't he bombing all the OTHER palces were tyrants are killing their people ? Is it American policy to pick and chose ? And just who are these "rebels" in Libya-reports say many are linked to Al Queda, so millions/billions of tax dollars are going to support THEM ?Obama supports theri "agenda"- no doubt!

  • Were is Cindy Sheehan when you need her???

  • @utubeworms She wrote an article slamming Obama. She couldn't camp outside his residence because Obama's never home.

  • @utubeworms Cindy Shehan? She is out there. She has been ignored by the media. This President was made by ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, THE NY Times. She has been moved to page 63, so they can say there is fair coverage. We will begin to see the candidates that the media wants to run against Obama. Again they will push the candidate that will most likely lose to Obama. Huckabee got the push until Romney bowed out. Then the jackals attacked. The lefties didn't want Romney.

  • Hypocrisy on parade!

  • I play Zuma and Dragon Age now. Thank God for video games.

  • King zero tried to get Qaddafi to unionize, but he refused. And then the "UN" stepped in...

  • Check out CODE PINK & MOVEON's website. There isn't NOT MENTION OF LIBYA AT ALL ON THEIR WEBSITES!! That should tell anyone all they need know about how fake these people are.

  • @xpandergt Thats because the Code Pink goons were (and probably still are) over in Egypt stirring up shit..along with Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorn

  • @xpandergt I don't know what it was 11 hrs ago since you posted but both websites DO have front page stories on Libya.

  • This just goes to shows how phony the anti war left really were. They only had a problem with Bush not the actual war.

  • Hey, RTV. You know who's missing from the anti-war crowd? The libertarians. They used to show up, on principle. But they (and their principles) have suddenly gone missing.

  • And now we "enter" Libya, all i hear is crickets.

  • You can't blame people too much, they Demonstrated by the hundreds of thousands before the war, but the war occurred anyway! They elected a man who promised Change, yet he turned out to be a Traitor! The people no longer have any political power.

  • End the Fed, then you will end wars.

  • @PELLOWHEAD Yea I laughed at the guy when he was like "oh but those darn libertarians aren't concentrating on the war" and I was like really? I'm pretty sure they're hitting it on both the social and economic front. If you can't print money to go to war, then... you cant go to war. REVOLUTIONARY!

  • It stopped when people realized as long as one person disagrees with the other, we will be fighting.

  • This is why so many become disillusioned because while the talk may be different the actions of the political parties are the same. And how does it happen? We as Americans are pitied against each other along party lines, playing the game, while the power elite collude to do whatever they see fit and beneficial for their agenda. I knew Obama was no different than Bush or McCain and here we have it.

  • @RothdeMan I believe you hit the nail on the head friend!

  • Got the link from a copy of the video or an embedded copy of it at WarIsACrime[dot]org posted by David Swanson and think the analysis in this is good, certainly right. Regarding anti-war activists needing to focus on this and not tie or associate it to other issues or policies, or ideals, I agree. It also reminds me of Congress members attaching amendments unrelated to war, being about social or economic issues in the US, to bills for war funding in order to try to get these bills passed.

  • part of it is hypocrisy, part of is temerity to criticize an already vulnerable democrat (fear of a Republican replacement), part of it is ambiguity about Afghanistan in general compared to Iraq, and part of it is that people figured out their protests don't affect anything

  • we gave up they just wont stop the war

  • Sick. Just sick. I will never consider myself a liberal again.

  • Those on the left function almost exclusively in the political power mode. They want power through the control of government and by extension control of all of us.

  • It was never an anti-war movement, it was always a movement from the opportunistic left. They just want their anointed one in power, beyond that they don't care. The war was a good racket, that's it.

  • Obama voters..... enough said..

  • Bush was not a great orator. Obama is. So he can perpetuate repressive, criminal, or otherwise detrimental policies, and sell them much more convincingly and effectively than Bush does.

Remember; human instinct is towards superficial appearances, not substance. I was sucked in by his speech in Tucson myself.

  • Yea I have heard several times that Obama's policies are a lot like Bush's, which is ironic, considering the depiction of McCain as a third Bush term was part of what got him in office. He will have to serve two terms for everyone to accurately assess whether America will hate him as much as they hated Bush

  • @17GreenLantern Two terms??? Surely you jest, hasn't he proven himself to be nothing but a liar, doing exactly the opposite of everything he promised while campaigning? I don't think this country can withstand another 4 yrs of his destructive ways. I think he has given plenty of reasons for us to be able to accurately assess him. Does America hate him as much as Bush? Not as long as those 'gubment checks" keep rolling in. As soon as that stops, watch and see what happens to his "devotees".

  • @Deb1inFla my bad I meant to say two years. and I said that because Bush had 8 years so it would only be fair. Besides, there are plenty of people on the left who are just as hateful of bush as you are of obama

  • What happened to the Anti Patriot act movement? What happened to the Anti Gitmo movement?

  • @kbr7171 what happened to the tsa scanner outrage? that lasted about 2 weeks, not many media outlets talk about it anymore.

  • funny how bush was honest about wanting to win the war, and people hated him for it... But Obama lies his ass off about it, does the exact opposite of what his lies were saying, then lies some more... and they love him Lol.. Silly liberals..

  • Barryboy 0bama > Warmonger than Bush.

  • This is a really good segment on this topic. My father and I always ask the same question, "Where are all of the anti-war protesters nowadays?" You never see them anymore. My father and I are both far to the left but we have never been supporters of the Democratic Party. It's as if once Obama got in office, all of the folks who voted for him somehow ignored the fact that his foreign policy is the same as Bush's. In fact, Obama is even MORE of a war hawk! But nobody really calls him out on it.

  • I HATE INTERNET SLACK-TIVISM.

  • WHY ISN'T THE NEOCON MEDIA COVERING THE ANTI-WAR PROTESTS ???

  • Some guy recorded the whole 1-hour of video in Seattle on Feb15, 2003 that it took for the crowd to pass by one point of the march. It was estimated 50000 ppl. I uploaded to my blip tv account, it is toddfboyle

  • Some guy recorded the whole 1-hour of video in Seattle on Feb15, 2003 that it took for the crowd to pass by one point of the march. It was estimated 50 000 ppl. I uploaded to my blip tv account, it is toddboyle, file number 4638085

  • Ya know, this is why I supported Ron Paul. He's a man of his word and has a record to prove it. If he runs in 2012, I wonder if now people will finally remember and listen?

  • seems to me like Obama got the peace prize in 09 because otherwise the nobel organization would've given it to Evo Morales.

  • Hitler killed 40,000,000.

    Abortionists 50,000,000...just in nAmerica!!

    Who is the monster?

  • @PALINSMITH Amen PALINSMITH. Abortionists make Hitler look like an amateur killer. Also, have you noticed that we never see films of troops in Iraq now that Obama is President? The lame-stream media does not want to tarnish their boy.

  • Comment removed

  • Obama then hired the general that President Bush had originally selected -- and the very same general that then-Senators Obama and Biden both TRASHED in 2007. Somehow Obama's minions on the Left and in the media spun that as "showing leadership." I don't think so.

  • People forget Obama used the war in Afghanistan as a campaign issue by saying the fighting of it was more "proper" than the Iraq war. But after the election, Obama "dithered" on it, eventually choosing to limit the general HE chose for the job to ONLY HALF THE TROOPS requested -- and a deadline to boot! When that general was critical of Obama, our so-called Commander-in-Chief fired him.

Let's be clear: No war has ever been won where the winner announced beforehand when they would stop fighting.

  • I think the anti-war movement played a vital role in the leadup to the war. They offered no plausible alternative to either giving Saddam a carte blanche ('Peace in our time' as chamberlain said, or 'delaying war to the advantage of the enemy' as Machiavelli said) or attacking him.

They offered no plausible restraint to warlike enemies, and played right into the hands of the Neoconservatives of the time. Good for them.

  • @mendelbot That is not true. Ron Paul offered a constitutional option of sending in special forces to assassinate those responsible for 9-11. As for Iraq, Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. This is admitted by both the Bush administration and the Obama administration, so why are we there? And don't say WMD's. To date, none have been found. Bush administration said they had proof, promised to show us, never did. Why do you suppose that is?

  • I don't know what conservatives and Republicans are so upset about. Obama is basically Bush's clone.

  • Our FBI & Government are Nazis

  • it's so true! drives me nuts, but those people who are showing up deserve enormous kudos.

  • Look guys, this is getting as old and as losing an argument as the anti-War movement which could not slow, let alone stop (both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars). It is no small accident that the loudest voice of the disloyal oppoistion is none other than international ANSWER, a truly leftist anti-American group. The rest of the movement was butressed by the far-left wing of the Democratic party that is now receiving a lesson in what I call "this shit is hard" foreign policy. Snap out of it.

  • "When he won the Nobel war prize...." joining such luminaries as Kissinger, Yasser Arafat and Shimon Peres.

  • WAIT!!! Would the democrats use the lives of our troops for political reasons? Say it isnt so! Who would have seen this coming.....

  • In the movie, this guy says that Libertarians are on the right. That is not true if you are looking at is on the Nolan chart.

  • I get the sense that anti-war demonstrators mellow when a liberal is in office during wartime, but seemingly are everywhere when a conservative is POTUS during wartime.

    A convenient paradox, perhaps?

  • OBAMA = BUSH = CORPORATE-OWNED NEOCONS

  • @halcyon0830 Twice you have used the term "Neo-Con." I would bet you can't define the term accurately. Like many it's just a word your type would use without having a clue.

  • @the82spartans

Bush wasn't president during wartime, BUSH STARTED THE IRAQ (CREATED WITH LIES) AND AFGHANISTAN WARS FOR THE CORPORATIONS.

  • @halcyon0830 -- OK, simpleton. Show us your proof and name sources.

  • @the82spartans Could just be the way the media covers the news.

  • @the82spartans

While i agree that D's have pretty much the same policy as R's but in rhetoric liberals speak of peace as R's speak of war. Now their pretty much the same BUT most people R's & D's ONLY listen to rhetoric, so i dont that as a fair statement.

  • @benympls

That would make me even angrier honestly. At least the republicans are honest about their propsensity for war. The Democrats speak about peace while supporting the same types of foreign policy as the Republicans do. That dishonesty makes them even more dangerous.

  • @Pervyable i understand your logic but R's are very dishonest as well... "globalism helps jobs here at home"

it does?? Then where are they? Oh yeah in China... thanks to globalism!

  • force is not humanitarian. not the way we're doing it

  • But it makes perfect sense what your motives are at the end of the video.

"We need to focus our message" Sounds more like, "we need to simplify the message for the masses so they ignore the truth of the matter."

Let us not ignore the more obvious, that "monetary policy has nothing to do with wars." Lets all just ignore why we've gone to war and who profits from it, lets all just be mindless plebs averse to conflict and be scared of violence.

This is not how reasonable people make decisions.

  • Hey, Thanks for the stupid headline on your video Reason TV. Very "reasonable" of you.

Let me answer that question for you: The Media stopped covering it. Nothing "happened" to it. Posting this headline is a mind game to try to make it acceptable that the "movement" (it's not a movement, it is rational people speaking and acting) is vanishing from public sentiment.

Also it was clever to say @5:13 "that some on the left" as to say libertarians are right wing.

Reason TV you make me sad.

    peace,

  • The anti-war movement has been satiated by words. Bush was unapologetic about the wars and thus the protesters were inflamed. They also personally hated him and his party. Barack Obama is a democrat, and his rhetoric is a pseudo-anti-war style. These two things have overcome the fact that he is Bush with a (D). It just shows how fickle the people were. They weren't anti-war. They were anti-Bush.

  • “The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism,’ they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

    - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

  • Don't forget Democrats supported the invasion of Iraq too... When they could get popularity points for it. Second it became unpopular, the majority of them flip flopped and began to attack the right for it, calling it murder, war-mongers, what have you. And now, that they are in charge? flip flop, it's suddenly not so bad.

  • Its true that war continues the people should continue to protest. Barack Obama just has increased the troops and millions of people died especially civilians. But in America you protest one war and than America starts another war. That is why you need to aim to change the system as a whole.

  • I agree with the war protestor (although not one a the moment or ever been) who stated we should have a well armed (and great-my addition) neutral army. I am a non-intervensionist unless the act committed is against U.S. or we are specifically and public petition by the people of the foreign country. Also if we are going to intervene we should have a clear and precise goal (get in and get out completely within a reasonable time without so much caring about winning a popularity contest).

  • @NadegeP1 We have been in Iraq and Afghanistan wayyyyyyyyyy too long, it is time to get out completely. We should only be focusing on foreign and domestic terrorist (whether be Muslim or others). Btw, I (whose family is half muslim) know not all muslim are terrorist (my family is not) so don't remind me of it and please know the constant reminder is ian nsultant and condescending to not only non-muslim but to those muslim you think you are protecting by reminding me or others.

  • @NadegeP1 sorry meant to say an insult not ian nsultant

  • Libertarians must also lisp a lot.

  • The puppeteer never changes...only the puppet.

  • You cannot have a warfare state without a Federal Reserve to print fiat money to pay for it. Disregarding monetary policy show a fundamental lack of comprehension in what allows the military to exist.

  • @StephinRazin Really? After the fall of the Roman Empire the world didn't have a federal reserve and there were plenty of wars for thousands of years. In fact, the world, statistically, was more violent BEFORE the creation of the federal reserve than after it. That is you were more likely to go to war when countries were on commodity standards than when they were off of it. From the end of the nineteenth century to about 1945 there was a gold standard for all intents and purposes. Plenty of war

  • @successfulbuild The monetary system changed from the 40s onward, and the world has been more peaceful because of it.

    _

Ron Paul is a stupid liar just like the propaganda at government sponsored, corporate backed ReasonTv (which doesn't have a single economist supporting it).

  • @successfulbuild Really?! Total ignorance on your part. No establishment economists. No big bank economists. No government economists.

  • I for one am happy code pink is no where to be seen becasue I don't puke anymore.

  • Wow, what a surprise. The NY Times carries their water.

  • where is the libturd media outrage? Obumbles is doing just what Bush did which they violently opposed? This just goes to show that the libturds are absolute hypocrites and the so called "protesters" are hypocrites as well. what a bunch of BS

  • used to be anti-war people in streets in fort collins every weekend now there are none. everyone needs a copy of the obama deception

  • We must not give a pass to Obama about this issue...we must not back down from the conversation about the classes of people who don't need to meet in some "Kabal" in order to press the resources of our nation to benefit them at the expense of everyone else.

Unfortunately, being disappointed about Mr. Obama's inability to face the American people and his base with the honesty required to serve all the concerns of our nation including the military is cowardice, we must let honesty persist.

  • Let's be honest: Centrists are stupid fucks who don't give a shit about their politic. Only when the election comes around and incumbents fail to deliver jobs and their personal social security, do these centrist people go vote for the opposing sides, just because that's all they CAN do. Its usually the Far left/Progressive/Libertarian Ron Paul team, who are very principled to their beliefs, that go out there and protest against critical issues.

Centrists should be ashamed of their ignorance.

  • @YoungSpotUBrock I have to agree with you there. Seems American Idol is the only real focus in too many peoples lives these days. And they really get pissed off with nonsense like, ( The line at the drive through is too long.) WTF...

  • Well, come on all of you, big strong men, Uncle Sam needs your help again. He's got himself in a terrible jam Way down yonder in Afghanistan So put down your books and pick up a gun, We're gonna have a whole lotta fun. And it's one, two, three, What are we fighting for ? Don't ask me, I don't give a damn, Next stop is Afghanistan; And it's five, six, seven, Open up the pearly gates, Well there ain't no time to wonder why, Whoopee! we're all gonna die.
  • Why do so many Reason videos have to be such downers? While the points made are usually valid, there's always a "nothing will ever change" attitude conveyed by the end...

Maybe you are right and nothing will change, but if it doesn't, it will be because our cynicism kept us from action.

  • Most of those people weren't more of being antiwar than they were being pro obama, which means they are lemmings who will follow whatever agenda their messiah leads them in.

  • What happened to the anti war movement is they grew up and out of the immature liberal mindset !

  • Seems 2 me that the Anti-War Movement was more of an Anti Bush Movement...

  • @MadBadVoodo

You have no idea of what your talking about because the media doesnt report anti-war ralley's. The anti-war community is still protesting. This is just a smear job
