Schindlers list is good enough. The Godfather isn't the best film but it's what introduced mildly interesting, heavily nuanced gangster epics to the masses. If you really want a good film you want either Sleepers for drama and emotion or Goodfellas for strong violence that is always intrinsic to the plot but still instils a sense of horror at the brutality. Or fuck it and get Zombieland or any Simon Pegg and Nick Frost movie
