@EdwardRommel I am happy to acknoweldge that there was a "golden age" of Islam witness: the beautiful architecture across most of north africa to the mosques at Isfahan in Persia.The Arab world was at the fore-front of many scientific breakthroughs, they mapped the stars,advances in navigation, medicine as well as amassing huge amounts of information in the libraries at Alexandria and Timbuktoo.HOWEVER quite how the arab/muslim world gets to the sorry state it is now is something of a mystery.
