  • This is how I feel when idiots(annoying neighbors) knock on my door in the middle of the night all these thoughts go through my head....is it the police? my mom? my friend? good song :)

  • WARNING: CONTAINS SAXUAL CONTENT

  • i love the sax in this song..so mysterious

  • so good

  • Crawling on the floor to the door to find its the mail man. Love those days.

  • 2:05 GREAT!!!

  • If it wasn't for this (awesome) song in a certain prequel/remake, the movie wouldn't even resemble something taking place in 1982. Maybe it was the overall shoddiness of the production or just a lack of me caring... either way, I'm not even going to get into the disposable lunchmeat cast, uninspired jump scares, cheap CGI and gaping plot holes.

TLDR: Rent the John Carpenter original. It's in color. You get tension and atmosphere, and Kurt Russell. The world will never miss that 2011 abortion.

  • @NoCinemaForYou What movie is it? It sound familiar

  • KNOCK!!! KNOCK!!!

  • @GOJIRAxTAIxBIORANTE that's where i heard this song ^^

  • @GOJIRAxTAIxBIORANTE read that lo, i read that in the 6th grade 5 years ago...i watch The Thing 1982 when i was three and my dad said he read the book when he was a teenager and it scared the shit out of him because he always saw the monster looking like a giant bumblebee or some shit like that and when i saw The tThing 2011 and the alien in it's real form...it does look like a bug doesn't it? WARNING: movies and short story causes severe paranoia...LOL

  • John Carpenter's movie was a remake of the 1951 film, The Thing from Another World. However, all movies; The Thing from Another World, The Thing (1982), and The Thing (2011), are all based off of the short story called "Who Goes There?" by John W. Campbell Jr. Carpenter remade the 1951 film mainly because it didn't hold true to Campbell's story with the "Thing" being a more Frankenstein type monster instead of a shape-shifting alien that could imitate other life forms.

  • The Thing is a movie that was released theatrically on October 14th, 2011. It is a prequel to John Carpenter's movie of the same name made in 1982. The plot is centered around a scientific research team in Antarctica who discovers a UFO that crashed landed there 100,000 years ago along with it's extra-terrestrial pilot, the "Thing." This "Thing" is a shape-shifting alien that can assume the appearance of any life form it kills and can copy their thoughts, feelings, and mannerisms as well.

  • im in the womb and i love this song. SERIOUSLY NO ONE CARES IF HOW OLD YOU ARE

  • sure 244 years old really

  • at 3:29 press the play button

  • Hi. So, it's great that you're 13/14/15/3. And also great that you like this type of music. Would you like an award? Please just enjoy, thanks. No need to tell us your age.

  • @EACYNC I think you should be glad. Real music IS being hidden from kids more these days. it will only get worse as the years go by, sadly.

  • @EACYNC

Don't be an ass moron, stating their age validates the music's ability to appeal to all ages from generation to generation. Too bad you are old and bitter, get over it!

  • @fellowcraft1 The music speaks for itself. And get your facts right before you call me old.

  • @fellowcraft1 You got owned.

  • @fellowcraft1 30 years really is pretty damn recent, when you consider the Universe is (at least) 13.7 billion years old :)

  • @DJMimzy This is true DJ, but considereing most people wont live past 90, in which 30 yrs would be a 1/3 of their existance. Relative to the average human life span, this is pretty old!!

  • @fellowcraft1 good point. it's kind of crazy that the early 1980s are going on being half a lifetime ago now! :O

but i think most of ppl alive today will live past 100 at least

  • @EACYNC gotta agree with u...age doesnt rlly play a role in wether u like the music or not so its kind of pointless to say. and btw fellowcraft u just dissed the uploaders comment so i think they can say watever they want on it lol.

  • @EACYNC why you be such a meany...cheer up! :)

  • @EACYNC

    I love you. So much.

  • @EACYNC I'm with you. At first, it's alright- fellowcraft1 is right. It does validate the ability for the music to bridge the gap (which is not as big as so many young people and older folk make it out to be). But, after a while, seeing comment after comment about peoples ages becomes not only annoying, but rather disturbing, in the sense that kids would be so apt to give out their information online.

  • I'm 244 years old and I've had it up to here with idiot kids thinking they're badass for being teens and liking good music -__-

  • @LittlePikachu You should be glad they feel proud of good music!

  • @LittlePikachu Well you seem awful old.

  • 15 years old and I love this song 8D

When I was younger my parents used to play this. 8D

  • Who can it be now? Why, it's Henry Kane!

  • 9 people were takin away by the man.

  • smh why did i have to be born 97

  • who can it be? no really who?

  • I LOVE this song. :D

  • to hell with the music of today it doesnt have the ability to make you listen and instantly feel great no matter how your day is going. im 29, and grew up on this 30 years from now this will still be the best music ever!!!!

  • I'm so very sick of all the club beats on the radio. Thank god for the classics.

  • When I first heard this song, I always thought it was a '70s song.

  • I guess I was born 20 years late.. 15 and love the 80s :D

  • @RideTheBus69 i have you beet, im 12 and saw rush 3 times, one of those at Madison Square Garden

  • @123Jus1 Who cares how old we are and who we've seen? I'm 14 and I listen to this great music and listen to it on my Technics SA-GX140 connected to 2 ADS L470 speakers and 2 Denon USC-20Fs and I've seen really no one worth mentioning. I would rather just brag about my stereo (and most people just stare at me blankly when I say I'm recording lots of song the cassettes).

  • Who CanIt Be Now!!?..Its the pizza guy!

  • Pure smexomophone right here, people.
