  • nice and steady hover! im learning too and i definitely have no confidence to hover it any higher than waist height!

  • I know it can be a scary feeling to go any higher but for the most part, hovering below your waist can be more difficult than going higher. At a very low altitude, you get a lot of washout from the heli. It can thin the air and create a lot of turbulence. Give it a shot and go a bit higher. It may help out.

  • Thanks Bro, yeah i've since started hovering higher, at eye level and above the head. The main thing I have to get used to is gauging the heli's levelness when viewing it from below.

  • Good Job, I got a T-rex 450 SA, I'm curently useing realflight, and saveing for replacement parts. Anyone has plastic from upgrades left over, I could use them.

Maybe one day I'll be doing so good as you my friend.

  • hey just a question.

i have an rc medevac and im getting the hang of it quite quickly, any suggestions for my next heli?

i was thinking either walkera 4#1 or a t- rex or something

    thanks

  • Trex is a good heli But thats all i have flown other then Walkera. So i cant give much advice on differnt kinds. Goto Rcuniverse and read some threads on differnt Helis Your find better advice there.

  • hey hows ur head on the heli i heard that it sucks and theres problems with it is that true ?

    thx nic

  • There are no problems with the head. this helis flies perfectly fine and has no issues.I have 2 Trexes and neither one had issues with the heads. the walkera 60 on the other hand is another story. they have heads that suck may be that is what you heard.

  • what kind of radio do you use?

  • Spektrum DX6

  • Nice, I've got an Optic 6 for helis, and a DX7 for fixed wings

  • Was using the Optic 6 For one of my helis. But put them all on the DX6 and use the optic 6 For fixed wings. just the oposite seems like.

  • 450 XL SE? There's no such thing....

  • nope ther sure isn't but there is a trex 450 Se and there is a trex 450 XL so if you type in eighther this video comes up in the search.:)

  • Um yeah that's what tags are for, you could label it "Hovering flight of T-rex 450XL" and tag it "trex450 xl se etc." Just a tip.

  • Or sorry meant "Hovering flight of T-rex 450SE" ;)

  • fixed :)

  • I didn't know you can change the titles now too... Cool!

  • Quality is better Alighn is a better company then walkera less malfunctions better quality materials ect. You get what you pay for.

  • so how do one of these electric helis cost. looks fun to mess around with. i have been into the boats and the cars, guess i need a challenge.

  • This particular model can run anywere from 500 to 800 dolaars depending on the Hardware you use this Helicopter has roughly 800 dollars spent on it. Radio system, servos Gyro Ect.

  • how much gain are you using

  • Sound would have been nice.

  • Yes there is sound but it didnt come out to good unfortuantly. In any of the other videos i make i will try and include some sound if anything background music.

  • It must be intermittant cause I have sound this time. Oh well. Good job. I am getting an SE soon. cant wait!

  • what gyro are u using its very solid holding

  • Gyro used is a futaba GY401 with Airtronics digital servo

  • i want one of them :'( but i am not skilled enough to fly it
