The Japanese don't actually rely on whale meat for meat consumption. There are plenty of other sources such as fish. They also eat other things such as soy beans that have all amino acids required by the human body. The fishermen cover it with "research" so their cover needs to be blown and put in jail until they learn!

Also fishing is another entire can of worms to begin with, it is in no way a viable alternative at all and if anything we're running out of fish. In 1990'ish newfoundland finally ran out of cod and there isn't a lot to stop the rest of the ocean from running out of fish either.

However their consistent ramming of ships (especially with a reinforced bow and a tool mounted on the side called the the can opener)will eventually sink a ship. Either the whalers or one of the SSCS ships (just like the ady gil) will go to the bottom.
This is not great for the enviroment or whales.

Honestly, where is your sense of humanity? Studies have shown that these creatures have great emotions and intelligence. They serve a great purpose in our eco system and cannot be grown like cattle. Whaling is a much more effecient way for island nations like japan, australia, new zealand, iceland, etc to feed their citizens when raising livestock is too expensive or inneficient.

The Japanese don't actually rely on whale meat for meat consumption. There are plenty of other sources such as fish. They also eat other things such as soy beans that have all amino acids required by the human body. The fishermen cover it with "research" so their cover needs to be blown and put in jail until they learn!

Also fishing is another entire can of worms to begin with, it is in no way a viable alternative at all and if anything we're running out of fish. In 1990'ish newfoundland finally ran out of cod and there isn't a lot to stop the rest of the ocean from running out of fish either.

sadly, not all japanese schools ban whale meat. many still allow it. you see, whale meat is banned due to how deadly it is to our bodies. it lowers IQ levels and makes people sick, even death. because of this, parents argue and complain, thus leading to political stress. so selected schools ban the selling of whale meat since the kids are uniformed and have no idea what they are eating and how horrible it is.

The word research is placed on teh side for 2 reasons. First, because the large majority of those opposed to whaling speak English. It wouldn't make sense to write it in Japanese. And second, because English is the primary language used for business. Notice the ships names also appear in english. Why do you think that is?

The southern Ocean is more than 200NM off the Australian mainland so it is International waters. To try to stop the whaling Australia made a claim to the whaling grounds, but that claim is bogus. That claim is also a violation of the ATS, which Australia is a part of.

First, the IWC is not a government so it cannot make laws. Just like the UN, it can make resolutuions that get voted into effect. Those resolution ONLY apply to the countries that are members. Those resolutions do NOT apply to non-member nations.
The IWC put a moratorium on commercial whaling. Research whaling is still perfectly ok for IWC member nations to conduct. Do you know this and are being purposely obtuse or do you really not know what the IWC is and what it's purose is?
