God I remember first watching Guyver so long ago..was my damn favorite..while the kids were watching power rangers i was fucking watching Guyver

This song...jeez its incredible. The sheer amount of hope and victory, what it signifies really shows the will of the Guyver. The level of will and power Sho attains from the scared boy in 1985 to now is incredible. Like Lojackzer said, he really is the strongest anime/manga character ever.

It would have to be made by Capcom though. They did such a sweet job with Aliens Vs Predator, thats the game i think of when i think of what a Guyver beat em up would be like.

Hit the attack and jump buttons at the same time to perform the mega smasher and instantly kill all non boss enemies on screen. Maybe get 2 of those attacks per life or it drains some health?

I think that would be the only type of game compatible with the story actually. Guyver 1 is player 1 and Guyver 3 is player 2.

An action game could work too, but if it were to be a fighting game I could only imagine the developers who did UFC: Undisputed doing it. That engine would rock for a Guyver game if they tweaked it.

I think UFC is too technical and realistic to be used as the fighting engine. I'm thinking

2D = Street Fighter 2 style

3D = Soul Calibur style (less weapons of course)

Well, they'd simplify it of course. But what I mean is the style of combat. In the series there is quite a bit of grappling as well as striking in the fights, which is something Soul Calibur couldn't do well. If it was 2D though, maybe more of a mix between Samurai Showdown and SF3 (2 did build the genre, 3 made it better). Really, I can't imagine a Guyver game being anything but a beat-em up or an action rpg.

A Guyver game would be great if it was like Ninja Gaiden 2. Like even collecting/learning your weapons/abilities along the chapters like in the anime. I think it would kick ass.

whats funny about the song is that there are lyrics in the song that are also lines from the live action movies the for example the song sais the guyver cant be defeated because hes been rejected by death is a line from the first movie and the lyric "Guyver Dark Hero" which is the title of the second film.

The 2 american live action guyver movies by screaming made george and steve wang were great but they should have waited until artound now to doc it because of the more advanced cg technology,and which ever company made the new guyver animai should do atleast one more season of the guyver.
