You are so wrong guy! I love Irvin but I know one of the contenders personally and Irvin's whole character on the show is JUST FOR THE SHOW! It was so dramatized and Irvin was a deifferent guy when the cameras weren't on him. You have to remember it's a show and that is what he is putting on.

I was saying the same thing during the first 15 minutes of the show, same ol reality bullcrap. But once they got on the field the show went to another level. Micheal Irving is great along with Bill Bates and Coach Joe. This is just more exposure for Cowboys to another demographics, although the NFL is not allowing them to use the Star and NFL logos. Never really watched Spike TV I will also check out that show Pros vs Joes. Hope the show only gets better.

After watching the first episode I realized three things:

1. Michael Irvin is on his way to possibly one day becoming a head coach.

2. Realized just how much focus and discipline it took for the 90's Cowboys to win three championships (Severely lacking in today's current Cowboy roster).

3. Wouldn't hurt to put the current roster through this rigorous training where their egos are cut down and stripped away leaving nothing but the desire to prove themselves and be champs. NO FOCUS at all.

Well irvin only use to get 3-4 hrs of sleep at times, yet showed up for practice and made himself and others work hard. Yes he wanted the ball, but he motivated others as well. I did watch Hard knocks, and T.O seems to get along with the players. The thing that seperated T.O and Irvin is that Irvin was more of a problem to himself off the field and T.O can be a problem to the team off the field( at times ). However, both work hard, main difference Irvin is a leader, T.O is just a player!
