@Dan2501Remington you can die here as many as you want. This is not like Panic Cave or Chaos Arena Dungeon that when u die, you get kick out of the dungeon. You can die on forbidden island as many times as possible. Your only enemy here is TIME.

Which is the best for solo/tanking, Blader or Force Shielder?

well, it's kind of hard to solo forbidden island so you would need a party member with you. For tanking, blader is probably much better than force shielder. Force Shielder may have aod but blader could be more offensive and defensive than the force shielders.
