I was at that concert. Everyone I was with ended up being shot by rubber bullets. At one point there was a horse charge and with the 5 foot long clubs that the mounted cops had, it was like they were playing polo with people.

It turned in to a total police riot.

@8182570 don't be ignorant. fuck the government but the cops are just doin their jobs. they're all told to go to a place where a riot might break out. a politician told them that, not the police force. when you want to be a cop you want to protect people. then there is the few cases of when they just want power and they want to be dicks to everyone. my friend's dad is a cop and he's a cool guy. they're just doin they're job. i think i'm high.

@300daysandnights My goal wasn't exactly to say police are Nazi's. My point was that even though it is their job, that doesn't necessarily make their actions right. I can't really say that using rubber bullets, tear gas, and violent force against a protesting group is just "doing your job." On the interviews later I heard a reporter say they were ran over and the cop just says with an arrogant tone to his voice "Well maybe you should have moved when you were told."

I have never been in a situation with riot police but I have a feeling with the current declining political climate that it won't be long from my participation in riots. I actually just got pulled over today for some bogus traffic violation that's going to cost me an arm and leg. Guy didn't even ask if I was okay, he just gave me the ticket and moved on, told me good luck getting back on the 85MPH speeds of the interstate from a dead stop.His sarcasm. Damn jackass.
