@Im0megamaster dude, furoshiki, bojagi, neither started off as gift wrapping techniques. they started off as ancient civilizations using rags and cloth to wrap/hold shit together. its something that can arise from common sense, there's no "one" creator of it. so chill. & puhlease, dont even get me started on shit u jap ppl start on koreans & stuff u stole from us.
@minazuki Probably the other way around since pojagi has record older than Japan. Or maybe it's not a copy at all..perhaps a Korean king sent out a gift wraped with a pojaki to Japanese queen and received one back from her.
Bojagi or bo for short (also pojagi or bojaki) 보자기 / 보 / 褓
is a traditional Korean wrapping cloth. Bojagi are square and can be made from a variety of materials, though silk is common. Embroidered bojagi are known as subo. They are very similar to Japanese furoshiki (風呂敷).
Very simple, stylish & beautiful. Thanks for demonstrating the technique. Can I ask, what is the music used in the background? - and the artist? To me it sounds a little like a Western Classical interpretation played on Oriental instruments?
