@BigEasy2979 don't watch the videos. They only make sense if you know whats going on (aka, you know all the random cards and terms they keep saying). To learn how to play you should just play some games with friends. you may lose at first for a bit, but in time you will get better and know the finer parts of the game

so i go to a local card shop, to build antti malin's deck..... and the guys like "okay these are all easy to find, new cards" so he starts a tab and is like "okay this card you want four of is 9 dollars each, this one is 7 each, this deck is gonna be well over a hundred dollars" i was like FUCK!!

parke really og tthe shaft, he drew straight mana that whole fourth game, and malin got everything he needed every game. it really sucks for jamie because he played much better overall than malin did throughout the quarterfinals and on.

its dumb how they said he played good magic(anti mallin) his pulls were rediculous every game he got like 2 thoughtsiezes and at least 1 vendillion clique PER GAME, a 5 year old could beat a control deck wih pulls like his. He is not a pro.

parke had a tough deck to play with. great player tho. if he shud change anything maybe add another 1-3 creatures. only wat...11 creatures in that deck?

u gusy hatin in these decks for no reason. If you hatin, it jsut shows that you dont have the talent to even get to this point in magic

How can you say the Lorwyn/Shards T2 metagame isn't worth playing? You might have just been upset that you couldn't come up with a deck idea that can get you to the Worlds Championships. These guys are the best in the World today....he just got beat by a better deck that's all.

merfolk are pretty strong against faeries since it can deploy creatures faster, plus control o.O

Sure. And if the only thing you *ever* played against was Faeries, you would be in the Top 8. The problem is there are a lot of other decks that put merfolk to shame; hence, no merfolk in Day 2.

Yeah i had a merfolk deck that almost always beat faeries and was good against 5cc. but it did run 3 glenn elendra in board.
