  • Awesome Job!! absolutely superb man! is there anyway possible that you could send me the plans used to make this cab? I have always wanted to build one, I would greatly appreciate your kindness.

    aeturnus01@yahoo.com

  • Perfect job! :D

  • why let marshall take credit for all that work!

  • @razorrick1293

yes you are right, but it's my personal history with Marshall.

  • Why use tolex when you could use leather??

  • Nice build, One question though,

Where did you get the wire that lets you just clip it onto the speaker itself and what is it called? thanks

  • @aids696969 radio shack female crimp on quick disconnects 10 pack 1.99

  • @The15peavey1 thanks mate

  • @aids696969

The wire is a speaker wire (2x2.5mm²) I welded at each extremity a connector adapted for the speaker.

  • im re-tolexing my amp. any tips? what glue did you use btw??

  • @Zackett1

I used a neoprene glue , this spray version is perfect , but you can use other one.

  • i love that cab! but can i just ask why was the coffin shape cut out at the back?

  • @MeanGreenMovies

It's to open back side , it's a dual design , to differents sides , sounds , and reactions with this cab , very good sound.

  • Very nicely done!

  • Where do you get the Marshall logo for the front of the cab from?

  • same question

how much does just the material cost?

  • how much did everything(excluding the speakers) cost?

  • where did u get the blueprints or watever they are called

  • that cab kicks ass! I'd love to hear it.

  • Great work, what was that program that use on your pc?

  • @jpedros666

It's just some drawing on Excel

  • What did you use for the white trim on the front?

  • @carterthatsme

I used a plastic part normally used for the border of the stone floor. This part give a little round corner

  • is this based on a marshall

  • @YourNameHere136

Not completly, the front side is very close a 1960 Marshall, but Marshall have not "dual design", You can find dual design with Mesa boogie, but very expensive.

I reproduced the Marshall connection but with electric wire, it's better

  • I have been looking for a how to video to really understand how to build my own cab. Fantastic work, sir. I believe you have one of the best, if not the best video on here. Hope to see many more videos of you great work.

    Cheers

  • Where did you get all the parts for this? Fantastic workmanship BTW

  • It would've been nice to have seen how you joined the tolex at the front and rear corners of the cabinet.

Also, can you please provide the specs of the speaker wire that you used. Thanks.

  • Hi.

You can find more details for corner on my 1x12 video cab on you tube (by "thefirstbab").

I used speaker wire 2x2.5mm² (section is more important that the looks)

  • Fantastic quality and craftsmanship. I truly envy you sir. End to end, how long does each cab take to build? Also, as you use 22mm plywood, have you weighed your cabs? I would assume they're close to 50kgs +

  • Thank you for your message.

I need one week for built it ( the night after my job).

Yes it's very heavy (I not weighed it ) , but it's not a problem for me, main is not vibration ...

  • super fabrication!!!

  • awesome :D

  • where can I find the vinyl you use? or how can I look for it in the internet? thanks.

  • I bought the tolex on the Thomann internet site (it's a Germany site).

  • I'll be interested to have a copy of the project. Where can I find? I would build it myself =)

  • Nice cabinet, thinking of making a Orange replica which is also Plywood...

How much did you pay for the wood separately and for everything together (except the speakers)?

  • The cost for only plywood (22mm thickness) is approximatly 130 euros

  • Really nice ;)

  • good job, beautiful , thanks for posting.

  • why do you put a marshall amblem on your self built cabinet? thats stupid...

  • I agree with you , but it's my personnal history with Marshall and it's a wink.

  • Really great!

    C'est très bon!

Спасибо огромное за видео! Крайне приятно видеть такой материал от соотечественника :)

  • Je n'ai pas vu la prise casque ;)

    C'est superbe ! BRAVO.

  • Beautiful!
