I generally HATE Christmas music. However, this one has touched me on a completely pure level. My interpretation of the "La la la la" is EXACTLY what Doctor Steve said. We all have moments that we can immediately identify with from the beginnings of the sentences. The "la la la la" envokes those feelings of the holidays or memories of our lives that make us happy because sometimes the thoughts going on in good moments of your life can only be described by "la la la la" in your head.
