More or less. The aft sections are based on the Bobcat, scaled up to 14 feet. I changed the bow to have a proper tumble home profile. This changed the forward hull sections. I also added the cabin and changed the rig.

What perfect documentation of how quickly things can go wrong while sailing. You couldn't have scripted it better - especially the part where you yell "on f***" just before the screen goes black. It kind of reminds me of one of those voice recorder transcripts they sometimes publish after a airliner crash.

No, AC. That's the San Mateo Bridge in the southern part of San Francisco Bay. I've been to the second Severen Crossing, but never by sailboat!
