Yes. In the US, we call it "going postal". The Edmond, OK post office 15 miles north of me started the trend of postal carnage in 1986. But NJ, MI, CA, & OR followed suit, sometimes with multiple incidents occurring in 1 day. Yes, it must have been the Egyptian corporate custom of seeking revenge upon coworkers. Though ours tend not to expose themselves @ hotel windows.
