  • Thank you for your wonderfully informative presentation which I found when searching for info on Ray Price's Cherokee suits mentioned in my earlier comment. He turns and shows off the back of his jacket for the audience in the middle of his performance of "Under Your Spell Again" (1960) here on YouTube. Another suit in color can be seen in a "June Carter Ray Price Comedy" from 1956 that also shows his matching boots. Don't know how many suits he had but I've spotted over a dozen different on

  • Ray Price's Nudie suits were decorated with Cherokee Indian motifs since his band was the Cherokee Cowboys. He usually had an elaborate Indian headress on the jacket back and a feathered chaps design running down the pants legs.
