Hi, great vid i must say, I have a D16 JDM Vtec setup (P08 ECU). I need to get this chipped, im very new to this so i could use your advice on this. On Ebay i found that u can get the chip programmed to your specifications, my question is, if this guy from ebay send me the chip with my program specifics, can i simply install the chip to my ECU (plug & play) and run it or do i have to do anymore stuff? Please help, i will be waiting for your reply.
is there a way to check the rev limiter on these aswell? say if you get your ecu chipped and u want to make shure u have a rev limiter instead of finding out the hard way.
is there a light on this that signifies a check engine light? i have a chipped ecu that throws a cel everythime i hit vtec. i want to be able to test all my other ecus when they hit vtec if it throws a cel.
Thanks man, i appreciate your answer... This will work with any chipped ecu right? cause i think xenocron called it bseries engine simulator. Although i dont see why whis shoudlnt work in any chipped ecu.
What would happen if the chipped ecu im testing has the cn2 port and jumper j12 cut and i plug in the hulog into my laptop... will i be able to datalog also? like if i turn the rpm knob up, then i will see an increase of rpm in datalog?
@PublicGarage Yes, you can datalog all the parameters that the unit simulates. The ECU thinks it is plugged into an engine, the signals are replicated almost identically.
The manifold pressure potentiometer will output up to 4.5V to the ECU, which is well above the 3.0V Atmospheric pressure threshold. So yes, it already made for boost.
Where can i get one of these? Is there a newer version? How much does it cost? You have anymore videos? Kindly get back to me. I'm pretty interested! Thanks!
Great Video. Thank you for posting this video up :)

@xrsrule Yes, this device simulates RPMs up to 9400. If the Injectors stop firing before you are done turning the knob, your rev limiter works.

@voweeks Yes, the MIL is the Check Engine Light. In Honda land they refer to it as the Malfunction Indicator Lamp.
