  • you dserved MUCH better on tihs cup

  • When will you lose 100 vr?

  • y is it tha u get a great first 2 laps then just lose the lead and drop to 6th or lower

  • @swaggkillz96 It happens sometimes. It's a normal part of Mario Kart Wii and keeps everyting unpredictable.

  • @swaggkillz96 Because other players behind him get fast items & catch up then he gets hit with the blue shell. thats what happens when u dont use manual.

  • @Funky3StarRanker can you boost out of the blue shell blast if you use a drift boost? I thought you could only get out of it with a mushroom

  • @cjohnson596 No u cant dodge them with drift boost only with mushrooms.

    thats only in double dash.

  • i never noticed this... but waluigi sounds like he has a stuffed nose :P heh, heh. he does! :D anyway, thats some really good MK racing skills you have :)

  • lol 0:11 birdos voice is so funny haha

  • What's mirror VS can you unlock it?Please respond

  • You can play Versus mode in Mirror Mode once you unlock the Mirror engine class of Mario GP.

When playing online, they show up randomly. You have no control over it.

  • 19;weird......

  • How do you start with a boost?

    And How do you drift?

    PLZ respond

  • To begin with the "rocket start," you hold down the gas pedal sometime when the countdown is at 2. As for drift, it depends on whether you choose Automatic or Manual.

  • I thought you were against players in first holding items behind them? You seem to do it yourself...

  • Huh? Nah, I find it against the spirit of Mario Kart to only use items defensively. When I acquire another item, I find a place to drop Bananas and Fake Item Boxes strategically and fire any Green Shells backwards.

You'll find that something a lot of people do is just hold only a single Banana or Green Shell for the entire race or until a Red Shell arrives, whichever comes first.

  • Touche. I didn't notice how you don't hold items behind you only as a defense mechanism, but also to use them strategically.

I apologize for being rude. :)

  • Nah, it's fine. You asked a good question.

  • its called the mirror cup

  • are u playing automatic with the bikes that steer sharply? i hate auto. i use manual with the wii wheel. i prefer mini turbo boosts to sharp auto turns

  • man that sucks

i just hate manul drift i can't seem to control it well

  • I prefer outward drifting

  • how do you hold a single item behind you?

  • I hold down left or right on the D-pad (Wii Remote turned sideways).

  • What does outward drifting mean?

  • The vehicles drift outward, of course.

Try it for yourself: Compare the Quacker and the Bit Bike (you might see it called the Nano Bike instead) on Manual drifting and notice how different they drift.

  • hey how do you make the item stay back and not use it i tried but i use it insted

  • you hold the button

  • Depends on the control scheme. I use the Wii Wheel, and my guess is that you're using it too, since the other control schemes only need one button.

When you have the Wii Remote sideways, holding down left or right on the D-pad will keep the item behind you.

  • What cup is this (flower cup, mushroom cup, etc.) and how can you get new races (courses)?

  • This isn't Mario GP. It's a bunch of courses already in the game and given the informal title by the players.

Mario Raceway is from the Shell Cup, Desert Hills is from the Banana Cup, Maple Treeway is from the Star Cup, and Moonview Highway is from the Special Cup.

  • Great Game, me last though.

    I'll do better tonight ^_^

  • Yeah, I got shoved of the bridge on the last lap of Maple Treeway by Hook.. XD

    Annnnnd that yellow car crushed me on Moonview. I knew it was coming, but I thought I could make it around it. :c I...kinda memorized where all the cars are. XD;

Ah well, twas still loads of fun!

  • Hook sure is mean on that course. Of course, I could be too if I wanted to be.

  • 1st place! <D

Nobody uses the ramps in Moonview Highway! D:

  • I think many people had trouble dealing with the last course. When I played MK Wii with my friends, all of my friends except for me got hit by the cars in the way.

  • hmmm there were a lot of blue shells in that race, and Moonview was very chaotic It seemed people were getting hit by the cars every 5 seconds lol

  • Yo Ry PM me and explain to me what this whole event is, thx :)

  • it seems that whenever im racing in mario raceway i always get in first place in these cups i suppose the only dissapointment was that 3 people got disconnected this would of been great if those 3 people wasnt disconnected and the races would be a lot crazier i better keep up my momentum tomorrow.

  • this was a great day for me on mooonview highway i got hit by cars and it was rare because i know how to memorize the car's movements on this course along with mirror but since i havent played in moonview highway in a long time it cost me to win the cup today.

  • It seems quite a few of these courses were mirrored. I wonder, what exactly is it that determines wether you get a mirror course on Wi-Fi?

  • I've never been sure about that, really.

  • woah! i think this is the first time i've seen you take 1st place in a while! i dont know why but i hate how the cars pop out of nowhere on moonview highway! i think you are the first i see that stays in first without getting run over! =D

  • I've memorized the positions of the cars in certain points of the races. The best part to remember are the blind turns.

  • Overhazard I think you may have made an error with the description. You say "The requirement for this one is that you must use an outward drifting bike. Of course, it doesn't specify that you have to do *outward drifting*, so I picked Automatic.

I believe you meant to say "it doesn't specify that you have to do Manual, so I picked Automatic".

    Keep the great videos!

  • Nah, that's intentional. Automatic drifting is neither outward nor inward.

  • No one cares.

  • I was referring to the first commenter, by the way.
