  • this band's vocals need work on this performance, but this was 4 years ago... I bet its almost perfected by now! the vocals (i mean) perfect instrument work guys!

  • so this is what it sounds like "live".

  • that epi sg, is that a g-400 with the pearl tuners?

  • I clicked on this video ready to say, "You silly cunt, you post a Beatles video and you can't even spell it right?!" but I ended up with a bloody brilliant tribute band.

  • GREAT

  • Great, great song (one of my favorite Beatles songs) ... and a really good performance. I loved it!!! Thanks guys. :-)

  • i always loved this gem! you guys are awesome!

  • Great job on one my favorite Beatles' tunes!

  • awesome!! this is my fav white album song, RIP George!!

  • this is a damn good fucking cover!!!

  • awsome performance!

  • Nice! Esp the right-on guitar bridge, which totally does justice to George's original.

  • Great job good sirs!

  • The Horns must be a recording... Great Job guys! I too never heard this song performed "LIVE"

I guess if your not coming to Frisco, your not coming to New Haven, Connecticut?

  • I'd guess they're playing to a pre-recorded track with electric piano, organ, and horns. The drummer would have a "click track" in his monitor/in-ears to keep his tempo synced with the tracks.

  • @rsadlier

    Right on!

  • Very good lads. I've only just realized this was a Harrisong!

  • this is great! ha i thought your name was a typo, lol great job keep playing!

  • Great cover band!

  • quite good. may be george harrison's best song ever.

  • underrated beatles song

  • Are you conscious of what you say, man? Well, this group is very good, though they perhaps weren´t so happy on this performance. Anyway "underrated beatles song", what does this mean? Do you refer to this band or to the composition? My goodness, a fantastic song by George, with fabulous sarcastic lyrics and rare melody & harmony style and vocals!!! Listen to the original recording and words then, and you´ll probably rewrite your comment, I hope so.

  • Sounds Great!! I've never imagined this song live! 5 stars!

  • suenan muy bien!

  • Estupenda...parece divertida de tocar

  • a pesar de lo viejos que son , cantan bien!

  • Gracias!

  • Wow, you guys are awesome!!

Can I join the band as Eric Clapton if you decide to play "While my guitar gently weeps"?

  • Sure thing Eric...we'll get Billy to come along too...

  • @thebeatels I call Billy LOL jk

  • @thebeatels Mientras no se robe a la esposa del que hace de george...

  • you guys are great...so glad you are coming to Wollongong again...see you at Towradgi on 23rd February....Seeing Savoy Truffle reminded me to ask, will you be doing a special 'white album' show at the Vanguard this year for it's 40th anniversary?? Please say yes

  • Thanks doctor...maybe there is a Santa...we'll keep you posted...

  • Well i'll make sure i'm extra good all year and hopefully the fat, jolly guy will look after me

  • Great job fellas!

  • How on Earth did you misspell the title of the band?!

  • It came to us in a dream...

  • ...

You must have had one heck of a lot of beer before you went to bed.

  • Not beer, just a flaming pie...

  • ...xD

  • hahaha love this it's funny!. =D you are a beatels with an A

  • No silly. The 2nd E switched places with the L.

  • Errr...the name of our band is The Beatels...because it's a tribute to The Beatles...hope that helps :)

  • he's george~!~ great vocals.

  • Is your SG a reissue or an original ,if so is it a 60's standard w paf's.Any pickup mods done?Hard to tell with guitar w lighting. You guys are great, ever coming to Frisco in USA?

  • Sadly, no plans for Frisco, but we'd never say no...as for the SG, it's a '64 reissue with "Classic 57" pick-up's...hope that makes sense to you... (thanks to our guitar tech Mal AKA Josh for the fancy talk...)

  • Amazing!!! It's my first time to see "Savoy truffle" to be performed by anyone on the stage. I especially like the 3-voice singing in the very end of this performance
