Get the macbook undoubtably. if your cravinng the whole desktop experience you can still do that by plugging in your mouse, keyboard and monitor and running your macbook in desktop mode. and by having the macbook you have all the advantages of portability i.e using it on a plane, in a cafe and of-course anywhere in your home! your not confined to you desk!
