Cadmus98, I might have been misunderstood. These are romantic songs. They express emotions, even dark ones. Get it? It is like wandering through an ancient church or a landscape painted by Caspar David Friedrich. Everybody was religious in some way or another in those times. Just liking this, doesn't make me a religious idiot. I have been criticised by others for liking this. Sting and Karamazov were lauded for this album by music circles....but it is not easy listening.
No it isn't, because people don't and can't do it consistently. It's like Jesus said, love God and your neighbor as yourself - that's the law. That's nice, but it's not a solution because people don't and can't do it consistently.
Amazing stuff. Ok Sting is no classical singer but what extraordinary tribute to the amazing composer such us Dowland. Its sounds surprisingly fresh and light. 300000000 x thank you Sting!!
This piece is from John Dowland and is taken from The Third Book of Ayres, is name is "The Lowest Trees Have Tops". Beautiful lyrics, wonderful lute part, Dowland at is best. Thank you Sting for bringing to light the work of this fantastic composer.

I like some Dowland, but Sting's voice doesn't do it for me here. I think it lacks dynamics.

Again, the lyrics are superb. John Dowland was a genius. "Love is love in beggars and in kings". Who could say something like that?
The world is saved, by this. Amen

There is no sound that's more beautiful then the music Dowland created. Sting sings it so wonderfully. <3

No comprende tu Espanol. Yo habla no mucho Espanol. Lo siento. Tu habla English?
That's about as much Spanish as I can do at the moment. I know a bit more than that but not enough to speak your language fluently.
I think what you're saying is, "The video is a joyful interpretation of the song sung by Sting." Si?
