@Peglegkickboxer i found out my issue. Make sure you uninstal OBMM and FMOD because it won't start up.

@xThePeaceSignx There should be a folder called "Install Info" in the location that the directory it was made in with the NMM. e.g. my NMM''s Install Info folder is in C:\Games\Skyrim\[HERE]. Your Install Info folder should be located the folder named after Skyrim, which your NMM created (when you installed it).

Um, I got my Skyrim from pirate bay and it works perfectly fine, like it were on a disk. I downloaded the manager, about 4 mods which mostly said installed correctly but they wont work. It may be the "Messy file thing, in which case I'll try to deal with it as such, however one mod I installed(Black sacrament armor) says Skyrim.esm is not active. Also in the settings section of the manager requires a mod Command and argument. It says it is required to launch Modded Skyrim but what do I do?

Help: I get some mods that say XX followed by a number (i.e XX000567). To get that I have to use "player.additem" code.However I don't know how to find the LOAD order for that mod (the XX). Is there a way to find that using NMM? I'm using Wrye Bash for it but it always says a 0E for load order. This doesn't work. HELP.

@MrBright775 Ok. First Uninstall Nexus Mod Manager. You don't have to do this but it's less complicated if you do. Now install it again but this time when it asks to install in program files install it it in documents (Yeah I know you tried putting it in the desktop just do it). Now run it as Administrator. Tell me what happens if it doesn't work.

The nexus modloader is so good, that you have to log in to use it. Now you may think that it isn't an issue. However, their servers are down all the time, and it's nearly impossible to login on the modloader.

Which means that you're unavailable to use it.

This is always been the case with some modders, the spent hours/days creating a mod and they screw up the folder structure or give you a random file with vague instructions.

I was invited by the Nexus to a "popular modders only" beta testing of the manager, I rather use the good old OBMM, to me it's the best tool ever made and if it was merged with the GECKO, that will be awesome, they should make a merged version of those quality tools, instead of this fake Asura.

It sounds like you guys are running 64-bit Win 7 and are running into a permission problem.. If so, either make sure you're logged in as the administrator or install NMM to a different dir. Hope this helps.

Ok, so this works really well for Skyrim, but not for FNV. I'm actually still using both successfully. I *only* use NMM for Skyrim and *only* use FOMM for FNV. Also, when I installed NMM I didn't associate any mod files with NMM as they don't need to be associated for it to work right.That way my FOMOD files stay associated with FOMM and I can still use. it for Fallout. Just thought I'd share.

I just have one question on the mod manager, which is probably a silly question on my behalf but I want to get it cleared up all the same. So, when you download say version 1.1 of a mod, and then download the next version (1.2) later, do you deactivate 1.1 and activate 1.2 or do you keep them both activated at the same time and the mod manager will figure it out? What's the go there? Thanks in advance.

For the mods i've used, activating the newer mod will prompt you to allow NMM to keep the old mod activated or deselect it.
