My dad and I were arguing about Schenn's Roughing call last night. He says that when an opponent pulls something like Kostitsyn did on Stajan, it's an unwritten rule to go in a do what Schenn did.

Aside from CuJo looking good, I thought there was one other positive from tonight. The Leafs getting "mean" and finally standing up for each other

1) After Stajan got leveled, Schenn didn't even hesitate to drop his gloves and jump Kostitsyn (who proceeded to facewash Schenn and try to skate away....)

2) Dominic Moore. Another hit from behind no call by Komisarek. Rather then just taking it, he goes right back at him. Stupid penalty? Probably, it was a double minor. I was fine with it though.

man, i feel the same way u felt in the beginning. i was cursing like mad!!! but i'll keep my comment pg. at first i thought that having them play halak was a risky decision by montreal, but he didnt even have to do anything. most of our shots were off the post, we ended up getting outshot 34 - 25, really a terrible game for us. but the palin thing is hilarious. well, im gonna go now. ill catch the rest of the red sox and rays game. that is at least a good game to watch. go leafs go.

i was listening to the post game news conference when i heard ron wiln talking about the play of toskala. last year, when paul maurice did the post game press conferences, he would often "suger coat" the horrible play of his players, especially toskala on some nights. he would say things like "oh, he wasn't on his top game tonight", and "i feel that he can do better" and he would mask how badly the team really was playing. ron wilson just flat out said that toskala played bad.
