that wasnt code 3. that was code 2. code 3 is lights and siren, code 2 is lights only. but great vid. love that roar!

Code 2 is commonly known as lights, no sirens. However, another very common meaning of Code 2 is urgent response, but no lights or sirens. In that case code 3 pertains to driving while operating any emergency equipment. Take the classic tv show Adam 12 for example.

Just because sirens were not being used at this time, it doesnt mean that they weren't going code 3

And 4 cruisers responded, so I know it was code 3, and one of the other cruisers used his siren

Actually it is most likely code 3 if a bunch of cruisers responded. Its at night and around here most code 3 calls at night they do not run sirens unless the street is busy.
