I hate this "new & improved" feature. Say I want to look up Avatar, when I type Avatar down, I see "vatr" this is because when I'm typing, Google looks for the page I want, but it doesn't look for some of the words I just typed. Can't there be an option to turn this feature off? Please?

Here's an idea--Google instant should work for all of Google's searches--images, videos, news, maybe not maps because that would get annoying. Always provide an option to turn it on or off! And even an option to turn it on per search type (ex: I don't want instant images but I do want instant news and instant search)

Doesn't anybody else dislike the fact that Google decided to change the way arrow keys function to be completely different than every other website? I'm a heavy keyboard user on a laptop, and I actually use the arrow keys to scroll. If I wanted to tab through results with the keyboard, I could use the key that already does this -- Tab.

The way the user is shown using the keyboard with the index finger is pretty patronizing. Sure, Google instant helps the typing-incompetent, but they are not the people watching google instant marketing videos surely?

@peggo94 Yeh i had/have the same problem, about:labs is just a blank page. Just restart chrome a few times, that usually works. Or if that doesn't work, destroy the process in task manager or reboot. You may even need to update or redownload the release :)

In 1995 you could use tab though links. Now google pretends it invented this by using arrow keys? Have to take my hand off the keyboard AGAIN? Why o why they never managed to put tab index numbers on the search results? I think I only own a mouse to click on google search results.

Lets hope this usability stuff takes off a bit. Google Chrome is sadly also really bad in that chapter.
