@Deboogs Not true; they still exist and there are known select glitches which the same results too. There's quite a nifty "fossil conversion glitch", which allows you to obtain the glitch Pokémon which would usually be drawn up as trainers via the Ditto Trick/Extended Mew Trick.
so they could make more profit green over in japan nearly lead gamefreaks to bankrupcy while red was doing fairly well over in japan the blue version was a limited mail in offer
but when it came time for the usa to get them in green got lost in translation while both the red and blue games made it with the graffixs of the limited edition blue over in japan its a shame greens my favorete color and i was hoping to see a green cart game it never happened for the original cart for usa and all the games in japan were raw grey i was left frustrated
Really not sure, just appears that pokemon doesn't need precision accuracy as much as Mario 64 does, so it could be done almost as well without the tools
How did you do this?...

At 0:51 you enter a door in a non-optimal way, you should be looking at the exit when you step on the mat to save frames.
You can manipulate Bulbasaur's DVs to get its HP to 19, letting Charmander finish the battle in 3 turns with a max dmg hit and two max crits.
Bulbasaur's tackle can miss, so you should manipulate it to miss, as it's faster than hitting Charmander.

I assume the glitches that let you get a instant level 100 and walk through walls are not in green.

The US Blue version is the same as the Japanese Green version.
The Japanese Blue version and the Yellow version has some enhancements.
PKMNwww411 2 years ago
They're not exactly the same, but essentially yes.
English Red had Japanese Red Pokemon.
English Blue had Japanese Green Pokemon.
Japanese Blue's Pokemon distribution was never released in the USA.
English Red and Green use Japanese Blue's engine and text. That's why they mistranslated the whole "Raichu you gave me evolved" thing.

Pretty good! im pretty certain that manipulating bulbasaurs attacks so that they would miss would save a bit of time.
Besides that, the run was well done
bobmario511 3 years ago
I know what you mean, but manipulating one attack can take hours.. I tried for ages and still couldn't get it.
JetlagJad 3 years ago
if u have a gameshark give me a heads up ive got codes for this game they are different from the us gameshark codes but its us gameshark compatible
wqge413 3 years ago

24BrianRulez24 3 years ago
This is a pretty cool run.. I don't know how any of those glitches work. Was this done using frame advance and high precision?
Bloobiebla 3 years ago
Yes.

I totally Agree!
Empolraptor 3 years ago
Mmm... Neither of you have even attempted a TAS before, so really... Waste of comment space.
JetlagJad 3 years ago
Sure haven't but I dont' really see TAS being needed for a game like Pokemon, thats just me though
MartyPotatoes 3 years ago
... Why not?
JetlagJad 3 years ago
Really not sure, just appears that pokemon doesn't need precision accuracy as much as Mario 64 does, so it could be done almost as well without the tools
MartyPotatoes 3 years ago 2
Actually, to get anything this accurate would need to be TA.
JetlagJad 3 years ago
I agree Jetlaglad but one thing i don't under stand is that Red, blue and green are the same green so why make different games.
Empolraptor 3 years ago
It was for the 3 types of Pokémon, Fire/Red, Water/Blue, and Grass/Green.
