Rubio desreves Rookie of the year as of today. Better than Kyrie Erving overall. He gets a lot of steals, draws a lot of charges, and routinely hits wide-open Timberwolves players that miss shots. He could easily have higher assist numbers if his temamates shot a slightly higher clip. He can drive pretty well, too. He's also hit a number of clutch threes.
he may not be ROY but he has upgraded the quality of his team, and has made it a more enjoyable team to watch, D. Williams is also a great adition to the wolves.
@TheApols He has teh potential to mean as much or more than a Brandon Roy on a championship team. That's all water under the bridge for Wolves fans like me at this point. Plus, McHale's last pick, Nikola Pekovich is starting to look really good, so maybe he wasn't as inept as he seemed.
@queazdaz289 Yes he is like Tebow in the sense that someone that doesn't know the game that well can like him and get excited him as a character, but there's a huge difference. Rubio is good.

@TheWunduR irving doesnt have a chance at beating rubio. look at the polls and allstar voting theres no question who the rookie of year is at this point.
@TheWunduR Rubio's only 0.5 behind Irving in PTS/RBS/AST and he leads all rookies in efficiency. I think it will be a close race and it will probably come down to the impact they make on their teams.
