It has nothing to do with unions, a small group of individuals are in control of all the major corporations and the politicians. These people have systematically moved all the jobs off shore for over 20 years WHY? Tax loopholes, cheap labor and huge profits. This has been planned for decades and in the end China will be the #1 superpower in the next few years and America will become a 3rd world country. 1929 will be the role model for the US future but worse this time around.
Hard to compete with a country that pays many of their workers slave wages...in time the people that came from the countryside to work will demand higher wages. Then manufacturing will move to another cheap labor market until there is no more left in the world. Japan did the same and look where their economy is today...regards...
I almost fell off my chair...lol...the add space on your vid features "Sunstone Circuits" a large Chinese printed circuit board manufacturer...that about says it all...regards...
The combined net worth of the top 5% in the US is around 44 trillion dollars (according to David Stockman). There's enough wealth there to take care of the US debt over say, 10 years, without inflicting any hardship on the wealthy (a little hardship wouldn't be a bad thing anyway).

I too am amazed/concerned that we import almost everything now and make very little in this country.

@grandmabev - I did a survey in a CVS while waiting and the only thing made in the US was Scotch and Hallmark. Tampons are now made in China!
