@KyraPractor The performers are professional dabke dancers...or a Dabke dance troupe/groupe..and its lebanese dabke....Galbi is used to appeal to all the arab dialects or accents....
@KyraPractor Listen...the original arab dialect originated in the arab gulf...or now known as khaleeji states...saudia and the surrounding arab states...so its not uncommon to have it pronounced galbi--i have also heard iraquis say galbi.
@KyraPractor Listen....the arab dialect originated in the gulf states---saudia and the surrounding countries .....and this song is sung in the bedouin style...therefore it is bedouin arabic or dialect...not a big deal. A rich song in its style and lyrics.
@KyraPractor What are you talking about? dabke doesnt have necessarily have to be danced to this type of song or to bedouin music...there are different types of dabke..but that is because different arab countries have their own style of dabke...but I think the lebanese dabke is the best....and to answer your question..dabke is not under bedouin.
This is quality Arab music. Beautiful, Arab poetry. Not like the new trend of numerous low quality "lady gaga type" songs that infest our ears these days. You know what I am talking about, those meaningless "songs" from relatively new and unknown Lebanese singers singing low quality songs in Egyptian accents. LOL. I am an American who is proud of his Arab (Lebanese-Palestinean) heritage. And singers like Rowaida and Assi who produce quality music with REAL meaning make me even more proud
I love the drummer!!! He's so energetic. I love the song, the performance, everything about it. Just amazing!!! I don't understand Arabic, but you don't need to when its that good!!! =D
Amazing!!!!!!.....i love that song!!!!!

Is this Leb or Syrian dabke? And how come they use galbi in the Levant dialect? Shouldn't it be 2albi?

@truediabolique69 Noooooo. Egyptian and Leb pronounce as 2albi. Khaleeji pronouce galbi. So this is making me confused.
