  • Thanks for the video, you guys should work less on being 'funny' and just get to the work. Vids might do better without the language, because you come off as immature and shit. (see what I did there?) Also, you sound what southpark thinks the hardy boys should sound like. Thanks again!

  • The camera guy sounds like Andy Dick

  • I usually start swearing while I am working on a car. If I come to youtube for a little info, I expect the people in the video to at least sound intelligent.

  • Thank you so much. I know NOTHING about cars and I changed all four plugs with no problems thanks to this video! Good work!

  • This video was quite hlepful however loaded with foul language. I had to turn it off when my granddaughter entered the room. F Bombs and other profanity.

  • @dabradway well im glad to help, yea sorry about that, some people think its funny.

  • thanks douche bags

  • use oem plugs on cobalt or burn out ur coil pack with platinum

  • piece of advice to take them out just use the spark plug cables boots and it's easy as cake..

  • gr8 videaos informative and funny as hell

  • thats a lead nickel compound youre gonna get cancer now

  • Any idea how to check the transmission fluid on my chevy cobalt 2005??

  • @Dispyto4u i was wondering the same thing myself, my dad knows how to do it so maybe we can do a video of that sometime.

  • @Moparman58 That would be awesome man!

  • @Dispyto4u

The transmission in the ecotec family of vehicles is a sealed system that never has to be checked. This is also nice as there is no way to check the trans fluid in these vehicles.

  • @Dispyto4u theres no way of checking, you would have to go based on how you drive (lots of speeding, or legal normal speeds) and some what on the mileage. I have a Cobalt SS 2007 S/C and I changed it at 50,000 and well, i like to use that supercharger a lot so you can imagine my driving. but if you don't then u would do it either at 75,000 or even 100,000

  • Just would like to point out that not all new engines have coil packs with the ignition coil built in like that. Most, in fact, are individual coil on plug.

  • @Zxceelxuz And also, the standard 5/8 spark plug socket with a built in rubber piece inside will grab a plug and safely hold it to remove it.

  • @Zxceelxuz yea thats true, not every engine does but i when i went to an auto show probably 90% of the engines use coil on plug ignition

  • Thanks for uploading this. Before I got my 2006 Cobalt, the last car I had was an '89. I have to admit, skipping forward 17 years left me kinda clueless.

  • @fnkystuf no problem, lol yeah its a big change in cars from the 80's to now. what kind of car did you have before?

  • @Moparman58 It was Cavalier Z24. It made me want a new Cobalt SS, but I compromised on the 2006 LS with a 5-speed. I knew that whatever I bought would be driven in Ohio winters. I didn't think a nice SS deserved that!

  • i think you call thous roach clips

  • NICE!!!! Thanks. May want to add a magnet stick to pull them out.

  • Awesome video guys....Need to change my brake pads/front. You guys have a video for it to?

  • @oguz135 no but actually adam the owner did recently do that, he said they werent very hard to do. i can make a vid soon my other friends chevy prizim beacuse thats going to need brakes soon.

  • 4 bucks a piece...for two

  • @trouble48708 4 bucks for 2, so a total cost of 8, we should have made that more clear

  • @Moparman58 its me steve.

  • lol u guys kind of sound like beavis and butthead :P

  • i cant help but notice the one dude sounds like bevis lol . do a bevis and butthead skit :D

  • Good video, like the straight forward approach. Thx.

  • @gjc866 thanks

  • Finally, a video that doesnt have a boring or "politically correct" dumbasses trying to tell you what to do. A kid just like me doing a job on my car with some friends, but at the same time, everyone knows what they are talking about and isnt a complete backyard grease monkey. Awesome video.

  • @KKFan9 Well thanks, we always try to just get to the point and fuck around a bit in our videos. we are soon going to do a video on a transmission fluid change in a vibe

  • You guys are great! Keep up the good work!

  • how do u change or even just take out & replace the fuel injecter in thoes engins? bc i took mine apart 2day bc it was leaking gas & instead of paying 80$ for the dealership to do it i did it myself, lol now she still leaks gas with a new injecter in & the motor seems to be missing on one piston. lol have fun with this one. just a lil hint take off the plastic motor cover, then air intake then common fuel rail first. lol

  • @doldford345 thats a good question lol i have no idea, this is not my car, its my friends so next time i do an oil change on it I will look. i dont even remember seeing the fuel rail, ill have to look

  • 5 stars no doubt...

  • @Chupria thanks alot.

  • man, two of the bestie butt folk i have ever seen.......

  • hahha awesome i like the bad language

  • lol thanks, we are going to be doing some videos soon again like this

  • You guys got the job done, but you have no idea what you're talking about. haha loved it though. First of all, you should have disconnected the negative cable off the battery, especially when disconnecting the coil pack. 40,000 volts were going through and always make sure when taking out any spark plugs, the engine is completely cold so you don't damage the threads in the block.

  • i know we should have done that but it didnt go threw any of our minds, it was fine though, i rarely ever disconnect the battery while doing spakr plug changes.

  • Great vid...5 stars

  • Thanks alot.

  • You would be amazed at the messes I have to help to fix when people neglect to do the little details like you did with the di-electric grease and anti-seize compound. A bit of extra time taken will save headaches later on for sure. One thing to be sure about the new plugs is to always make sure the porcelin shells are the same length as the originals. Coil on plug type systems are unforgiving to things as such, you can get gaps in connections which will burn out things fast. Good show here.

  • oh yea i know, people are careless. we did check the gap and everything also. thanks

  • yea they are pretty easy, the v8's will be easy now that the spark plugs are on top.

  • I heard the owner of that car is a pretty cool dude.

  • i heard that he was pretty fucking gay and on the seats there was dick puke.
