If you dont like the looks of it(personally i like it a lot), look for a monitor with these specifics: 22", 5ms response time or lower. 10 or below input lag. 16:9 widescreen since when u play 16:10 with Xbox, it cuts an inch off.

Yes, i had a turtle beach x3 (x4 only has a better receiver but same headset) it sucked. It was uncomfortable and the mic can only be on the left side which bothers me don't ask why it just feels weird to me. The mlg astro a40 feels way better and sounds better too. Totally worth the extra money.

I dont believe so i get my ingame sound through the fiberoptic cable i got but there are other ways to set it up and u can do them with the cables that come with it. I just use fiboroptic cus is less wires an best sounds but others are all still good
