Thank you for posting. One of my favs. Killer on the Rampage was one of the first cassettes I owned. It did not sound much better than this when it finally gave out. Skipping or not great to hear this song. Thanks!

Putting a penny or another type of change on the needle would only do two things: Cause a silver streak in the grooves that is permenate and second cause a shhhhhhhhh in the record. I avoid doing anything like that. It may infact be the grooves being too wide or too thin for the needle? Don't distroy your records that way, accept the skips and even try the lp on another turntable.

Mate, you need to weight your needle.
If you have the counter-weight wound all the way out already, try sticking a 2 cent piece to the top of your stylus cartridge.
