I've been goin on the road with grandpa since i was about 3 and he passed away when i was about 11 and then started goin out with my dad and now im about to turn 15 and can already drive a rig just not legal. Gettin my CDL as soon as i can.

I admit that It can be lonely out there on the road. I make the best of it by going to the arcades to play some games, workout: just stay active. On one previous run, I had plenty of time to make a delivery so I stopped In Wisconsin Dells, Wi and played some minature golf at Pirates Cove for two hours. it was very relaxing and fun. It made my work day go by much better. Better than being in the sleeper.

I like your video. No doubt your son had the time of his life. Its good to have family with you on the road: especially your kids. they say that its hard on truckers who have families. People also dont realize that truckers dont get to see their families  and freinds often as 9 to 5 people do and dont have the comforts of home like they do. Im a trucker myself and the best reward is getting home safe and spending time with my family. Again, great video. You guys be safe out there. God speed.

its funny... i agree with you, but i was never on the pass seat! its in people's blood.. no one in my family ever drove truck cept my grandpa for about 2 months haulin hay in the 60's. but for some reason i love it like my first wife.

Dude. you will really enjoy driving a Semi I sure do I got my CDL-A two months ago! I am 20 I am used to Manual Transmission and the biggest thing is learning to rev-match your downshifts!

HI Sean, Took my 3yo daughter along for the first time the other Friday night for a short run, was that ever good. She really enjoyed it.. picnic on the bunk. Have a short vid of the run on my page if you want to see Irish roads and trucking. You can hear daughter talking at some points
