  • Very nice, I'm hoping to start building my cabinet soon. I'll be using a 2 player tank stick with track ball. Do you need a pretty strong PC to run this stuff? I have an old PC, but it's no where close to the e machine you have.

  • hi,

if you care about all the mortal kombats, killer instinct, killer instinct 2, and a few other high demand games, then you will need at least a 2.4 ghz duel core with 2 gigs of ram. other wise it will run really slow.

if you don't care about playing these games and just want to play the old school arcade games then you will be able to run most of the games with a single core 2.0 ghz with 1 gig of ram.

    trix

  • @trixster6d9 what is the mp3 name in the begining?

  • @altezza5566 kanye west, stronger

  • @altezza5566 kanye west, stronger

  • Was all this included with your x-arcade machine?

Is it easy to controll on the Nintendo 64 games?

  • no, the only thing this cabinet has to do with x arcade is the controller.

everything else i put together piece by piece.

yes it is easy to control, but since i use the joystick to play n64 i can't use all the buttons since the joystick doesn't have enough buttons to play all of the games.

  • Crazy combos with Orchid! Damn I need a tutorial how those are done... she is my favorite as well as Fulgore.

  • Awesome set up mate (tips hat)

    JEALOUS!!!!

  • When the so called ultra tough, strong as a tank, tank stick arrived it was ALEADY BROKEN!!! I had to fix it in 2 places. year later circuit board doesnt work. I ask for a new one but apparently the incredible full lifetime warranty doesnt apply to me because i got it from the wrong place! And then they told me i could always buy a new circuit board. As if id ever want to buy something from them again! DONT BUY THIS!

  • Damn i want one

  • that is too much for one man.

  • lol! i like that response, it has alot of truth in it!..... IT IS TO MUCH FOR ONE MAN!!!!!!

  • @trixster6d9

I notice you have the tankstick? I also have it with my custom cab and am a registered Maximus Arcade user. I notice you are not getting the exit emulator bug in MA?

Beta 7 has a workaround but it involves 1+2+3 key and then selecting exit emulator, which I don't see you doing. Has this bug not affected you?

  • hi epyx911, i think i am using version 2.05 and i have not updated it at all. but i did have a problem on the first computer i put it on witch was a old p4 with xp sp1. it would not let me exit a game if i played it longer then 3 min and i would have to crash ma to get out. then i got a new pc witch was a new duel core with vista and i put the same version of ma and it worked flawlessly, i never figured out what the problem was.

what version of ma did the problem start from?

  • oh ya, i use button 8 on both player1 and player2 to exit the game just to let you know:)

  • Thanks trixster6d9.

I am using the latest beta which is supposed to fix the exiting issue. It does but it brings up a little menu on which you select "exit emulation".

I would rather have the smooth black transition you do from emulator back to MA. I will try your setup on the button 8 on player 1/2.

    Thanks!

  • how did u get music to play when your browsing games?

    nice cabinet

  • you make an folder called ambiance in your maximus arcade main folder and fill it up with your favorite mp3's then you go to the preference menu and link the ambiance folder to maximus arcade

  • Dude! You lucky, lucky man! Thats gotta be sweet! You probably have Street Fighter Alpha 3 or Street Fighter 3rd strike on it don't ya! Nice job, bad ass!!! I just run mame and kawaks on my computer but you have the ultimate arcade experience!
