hey guys, I need a little help here. Suppose I am playing a four string arpeggio(E, B, G, D), let's say in key of D. lick goes 13fret(on E), 15(B), 15(G) and 15(D) so it's major. Now that wouldn't be problem if it was minor(14 on G). The only possible fingering for major, is, I think puting a bar with my middle on 15 fret(on strings DGB) but when I do that, it's impossible to pick all those 3 notes to sound SEPARATELY. They mix and it sound sloppy as hell. If any1 understood, please help!

@xImarjanIx Actually, that's not the Sam Totman Ibanez. It's a rare PGM 600. A Paul Gilbert Iceman-look alike Signature. The dragonforce one doesn't have the f-holes, and it has a Floyd Rose tremolo system, which is different to the fixed bridge on the PGM 600.

i apologize, his brown one that he uses currently, on silence followed by a deafening roar is a reverse iceman, this one is just modded to look a little bigger in places, i think, that's why it looks a little off.

check out the other videos, that are more recent, and you'll see what i mean, they have backwards angled single coils, and a small cut away in the bottom.

This is a great video. Far more interesting to listen to than the "real" blues players. He outlines chords much better than guys like Albert King, BB, Johny Copeland, etc...Which makes sense because Paul has the skills and knowledge to do so and the "real" blues players simply don't. I love hearing him talk about the art of playing over chord changes. Again, something "real" blues players miss. Alright...let the typical "Well, 'real' blues players have more 'soul'" comments begin! lol

Joe Bonamassa IS a great player...and for that, I would never say he sucked. He's an asshole...but, a great player. He's not just a straight Blues player, though. He has many other influences and has the chops of a good rock or country player. That goes a long way. SRV was another great. But, again, SRV could play his ass off and had great tone. He also could sing really well.
