  • Oh, wow, the swamp section of the game got to me....

Sittin' on that train.... I sat by that traveler guy, and just kinda waited for the train to stop for a while. It was really surreal.

  • LOL "what are you a pussy?" *le long silence*

And I use to play this game when I was like eight or something when I was going through a Weeaboo stage and I liked Yume Nikki. But some parts of it gave me nightmares and my mom ended up taking it away ._.

    I MISS YUME NIKKI D:

  • When you learn some of the theories that could possibly be true as the background to this game, it can become more depressing, terrifying, or even peaceful.

I was surprised you didn't talk about the ending. It was like a punch in the face when I played it.

  • I find the theme of some of these horror/surreal Japanese games to come from the social structure and their people. You see it as a sort of claustrophobic place where making friends and relationships is rather difficult. Different items represent different sort of expressions and feelings in everyday life.

You see similar things in other artistic indie game like The Void, made by a Russian company, where the outlook on like is different as its depicted as a pretty harsh environment.
