Just as an observation, having watched similar riots and reporting in Greece, any remotely similar incidents there, are reported always with the police being the bully and the perpetrator.
I am not trying to take sides or influence any of you. I'm just relaying a personal observation regarding a maybe cultural difference.
Personally, I think pulling this man out of his wheel chair is despicable.
I've watched two interviews of Mr. McIntyre. In the first it was obvious that even though Mr. McIntyre us physically handicapped, the gentleman interviewing him is mentally challenged. By watching now this second interview I realize that in fact the media (and by that I don't mean all since I have not checked them all) are aligned with officially government policy and in this case police actions.
you are disabled, you can hardly talk, you cant stay in your place, why the hell are you protesting? leave the police alone.. all you want is to sue the police and get compensation..

THE Independent Police Complaints commission is NOT independent - it is investigated by police officers from the force. What other organisation is allowed to investigate itself? There's always two sides to every case, and although the police handled him roughly, they must have had some cause act in that manner - perhaps McIntyre had refused to follow police orders after being asked 10 times. No one can determine what really happened unless they were there, and McIntyre is hardly impartial or objective.
