  • Unions did one hell of job in detroit michigan!

  • USEABLE IDIOTS.. MINDLESS THUGS.. UNION=COMMUNISM..

  • Lies and propaganda.

Thanks for having National Socialist Workers Unions and destroying the world!

  • tresspassing and interfering with someones business means your a criminal not a union member

if someone else can do your job when you and your buddies walk off the job dont prevent them from engaging in voluntary transactions you dont want to engage in

  • @gonadcancervictim gonad cancer victim??? really??? it sounds like the lord just works in mysterious ways and probably just decided to take away the balls that you arent using anyways

  • @gonadcancervictim gonad cancer victim??? really??? it sounds like the lord just works in mysterious ways and probably just decided to take away the balls that you arent using anyways......just a local 104 teamster

  • Look at them, one half of the working class hired to kill the other half. Dear police man, you're one of us. Please keep that in mind.

  • Go Unions!!! Daughter of a union guy and wife of a union guy. The majority of companies and corporations will screw workers whenever they can. CEO's don't answer to anyone but the board and/or stock holders, CEO's that make 23 MILLION a year or more, should be satisfied but they are not. Middle class workers just want a living wage so they can buy the freaking groceries, pay the freaking car payment, and pay the freaking credit card bills that are due each month.

  • Total unregulated capitalism ends in corruption laws are needed to keep business honest. Libertarianism is a system of total greed that will destroy this country if allowed. I think you hate this country not me. Your kind will make it more corrupt than it is just like Mexico,China and B.razil

  • The Postal Reorganization Act of 1970, guaranteed an independent financing authority, removal of the postal system from the political realm in an effort to ensure management continuity, and the guarantee of collective bargaining for postal unions. The Act created a corporate structured agency, the United States Postal Service (USPS) and gave postal unions the right to negotiate on wages, benefits, and working conditions. The Act was signed into law by President Nixon on August 12, 1970.

  • "You of organized labor and those who have gone before you in the union movement have helped make a unique contribution to the general welfare of the Republic–the development of the American philosophy of labor. This philosophy, if adopted globally, could bring about a world, prosperous, at peace, sharing the fruits of the earth with justice to all men." -- Dwight D Eisenhower - a Republican not a Neo-Con.

  • Funny how you union nerds can ONLY look back in history to a time where you were relevant. How long ago were you needed?! Youre nothing but democrat commies demanding more and more from the evil 'scabs' you mock and ridicule.

Proud member of a union my ass. Read the news. You people are hated worse than illegal aliens. You suck worse. Whats wrong, not one of you losers can compete in the free market?! Need 'special' help? Any company that does business with Unions should go bankrupt. Avoid them

  • you are an idiot! go stuff your foot in your mouth before someone does it for ya!

  • @goatbut29 Morons like you only know teabagger revisionist History. Why don't you research before you open that libertardian mouth of yours. The unregulated free market is destroying the U.S .But idiots like your keep drinking the freemarket koolaid.

  • @jmck53 Lol, you have some nerve calling others revisionist. I didnt see anyone pretending that unions were not a very important part of HISTORY before they were corrupted and used as a democrat army to kill business and raise money for them.

YOU act as if capitalism is to blame, ignoring that its yet another tool twisted by a few to rule the many. capitalism is not to blame, those that abuse it are. Would you say moonbat liberalismis all bad or just the few that mangle it into hating America?

  • The 1995 newspaper strike from Detroit is here. I remember working as a UNION employee at Kroger when the lowly scab delivery driver used to plead for me to take his newspapers delivery into the store because people were ripping off the newspapers we were leaving outside. We never did touch those papers. I would kick the bundle the driver left into the parking lot. The driver once said he had a wife and kid to feed. I told him so did the people who were striking. Scabs are lowly humans.

  • @scifi75 'Scabs'. Is that the word you union losers use for the rest of us 'non union' workers? You know, the ones paying you losers to rip off companies? Hows that card check coming? You know, where you losers wont allow private votes for/against the union? You have to KNOW who voted what. Why? So you can come to their homes, or kids schools? Its documented here on youtube-search it. You 'scabs' are lower than commies. You cant compete in the free market, no wonder you hate it so. Fucking loser

  • @goatbut29 Comprehension must be a problem of yours, goatbut129. I never said that non-union employees are scabs. A scab is someone who takes the job of a union dues paying employee who is on strike as was the case of the scab newspaper driver. BTW, the 40hr work week and overtime was achieved by unions so you need to tell your boss that you need to work less or more than 40hrs of work with no overtime due to the fact they are a communist creation impeding your personal liberties.

  • @scifi75 Um. So that 'scab' that obviously needed a job should not take whats offered because your union is essentially holding some poor company hostage to your demands?

They cant hire others, but you aint gonna do the job until your demands are met? Motherfucker thats called extortion you dumbass. Who the fuck are you?! If you dont like the conditions hit the road! Whos stopping you from taking your highly skilled ass somewhere else?! No...gotta destroy the company first.

    Whos the real 'scab'?

  • @goatbut29 Okay. Your boss decides that he does not want to pay you the current wage you have earned. He goes out into the street, finds an unemployed individual and guarantees them work at a percentage half that of what you make. You are now out of a job. By what you just said, that unemployed man had the right to take a much needed job because your wage was holding your boss hostage. That means you have to hit the road to find another job. At least you are FREE to find a new job!

  • Unions served their purpose at one time and did a great thing for America.

That is no longer the case.

They are perverted by communist shitbags who will destroy each company they infest like roaches.

Every union member should be arrested under the RICO status and all they own confiscated to py the taxpayer back.

Unions kill productivity. Cant even have a vote in private (secret ballot) eh? You fucks gotta know WHO voted for WHAT so you can punish them?

You losers cant compete in the real world.

  • @goatbut29 Beg to differ; any vote I've done in a union for any major event has been done by secret ballot. The ballots were not numbered or identified in any way, shape, or form. The only name-checking was done prior to receiving a ballot to ensure that a: you only voted once, and b: you were up to date with your dues. Again, no identifiable markings on the ballots.

Also, let's see how fast benefits of any kind and minimum wage are repealed if unions suddenly cease to exist.

  • god you just have dumb comment after dumb comment!

  • If the illegals would join the union and make a decent wage you would see the boarder closed down and no more illegals let in because the wealthy would have no use for them.

  • The unions are not as strong as they once were and you can see how this is working out for the common working man and our once great country.

  • Which side is the government on is the more important question.

It may be on the side of selfish industrialists who abuse workers' rights, or, it may be on the side of communists who want to rob the wealth of both the industrialists and the workers.

Government is never on the side of workers. Even if self -interest causes it to ally itself with labor for a time, It will always later betray labor once it gains greater power.

Government is a greater enemy to workers than management.

  • Fuck a bunch of rats

  • don't forget to take a few cans of wasp and hornet spray with you...

    Helps slow down uniformed busters

  • We used to have unions. Now we have illegals and gangs. Thanks Reagan.

  • The busters and the unionists are the same.

  • Many people don't know what oppressive and totalitarian system America had and has against those who actually dare to stand up for themselves. Long ago it was mainly the union boys and gals but today it's also those fighting for civil liberties and other things. People who actually care aren't that free sadly.

Those who are mesmerized by our consumerist culture are merely free as long as they continue buying things and living in accordance to the status quo.

  • unions are a great thing,. unless you live in a country that gives every resident, ..respectable human rights in that case it only protects the lazy man, they picket and bitch to make there jobs easier and when they succeed in lessening there work load and increasing there pay,how do you think the company has too make up for that. simply there hire contractors to pick up the slack,. every time you make your job easier your just giving more work to contractors, that call them scabs lmao pathetic

  • "Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration."

    -- Abraham Lincoln.

  • @joshua1auhsoj The trade unions which are run by corporations which are run by fiat debt are the big losers here in America. "Small buisness" cannot compete with labor rackets. It's that simple. Trade union workers remain working class, corporations can do no wrong (democratic state support), fiat debt suddenly has a reason to exsist through debt. It's an ugly structure within a country that doesn't want it.

  • The SEIU is not a good union - maybe the workers are good, but the union is corrupt and violent. States that force people to join the union to work are wrong.

  • @allahsuxdicks SEIU sucks. Andy Stern schmoozes with the corporate elite.

  • most unions have been bought off, these were the good ole days.

  • Watch those sweeping generalizations. There are many good unions, i.e., SEIU, UFW, USW, ILWU, off the top of my head. There are also many small unions that only operate in a local or regional areas, & you don't hear very much about them, but they're winning strikes and getting good contracts for their members. I grew up with a loyal union roofer father, & am proud to be a member of both the UFW & USW, myself.

  • "Without unions or labor laws that were pushed for and hard one by union tradesmen, there would be skilled labor making minimum wage (if there would be a minimum wage to begin with), children still working in sweat shops, and 14 hour a day seven day a week jobs... the unions are what support the middle class in this country, even raising the pay rates of non-union workers by their very existence, anyone that has actually read their history understands this.

    - Proud Local 378 member.

  • willbackbone,Iv been in the teamsters for over 20 years. I run lowboy for a construction co. I also run dozer, excavator &a lot of other equipt. my house is almost paid for ,I retire in about 9 years with over double the pension of a carrier or gm worker. my family had the best health ins. you could buy. Im very talented and I get paid well for it.

  • willbackbone its not about sweat shops, the labour dept can take care of those. I know allot of good drivers retiring the same time as me ,you know what their ending up with after 30 plus years of labour? soc. security when their 68 or 70. what about my boss after paying all these benefits all these years? hes still a millionaire

  • Union people have done all you say they have done, but there are still many people with the miserable work lives that you describe, especially foreign workers, more especially undocumented workers. There is out & out, literal slavery; particularly: Mexicans & Central Americans in farm work; Asian & Mexican women in garment manufacture; Eastern European women in sex work. I personally met a heroic Mexican who had escaped with another slave & busted their case wide open.

  • @evilmonkey1971 you must not live in Canada, because in Canada every worker has the right to refuse unsafe work, and if your a good worker company's will want you for your skills,........ if your a good worker a company will pay you more then anyone else can if you produce for them,....... in a union you cannot climb the ladder, all you can do is wait to grow old for a chance to move up......... unions are great in country with no human rights,... but in Canada where everyone has rights its bad

  • @TaNgLeD2121 YEs, if you join a union you will never rise and own your own buisness. Maybe you will tell someone else what to do but that's about it. I think that's stupid.

  • @J1980Thomas

That's not a great argument. Not everyone WANTS to own their own business or is qualified to do this.

And what about teacher unions? is your argument there they aren't going to open their own schools?

  • @evilmonkey1971 Well, there is illegal immigration which still exsists, sweat shops exsist, there are 7 day a week jobs. Raising fiat pay rates doesn't do much considering the mortgage...

  • @evilmonkey1971 I'm a proud Local 7703 member. We all need to fight to stop the RIGHT TO SLAVE LABOR BILL or Right To Work.

  • Iam actually in a union myself. I have benn a union member for over 12 years, but seems like my union does less and less for me as far as coming to bat for me. All the jobs end up going to "prefered" members or members that pay big to the union reps to get the good jobs. YES, THEY BRIBE THE UNION OFFICIALS FOR THE BEST JOBS. MEANWHILE, GUYS LIKE ME WHO DONT PAY, DONT WORK. SOUND FAMILIAR UNION REPS?

  • God bless you union guys and everyone else who sticks up for themselves. May all you union haters work til it kills you or until you are old and broken.

  • Quit whining, get some qualifications and find a new job if you don't like the way you are treated. All the unions do is take your money and use it to not only extort the very company that employs you, but also drives the prices up both directly and indirectly on everything for everyone. That is until they and you drive that company right out of business. Once you are out of a job the very same union will turn their back on you so fast.

  • That is good for the non union workers though. Look at what the teamsters did to Yellow and Roadway..LOL way to go! Over here at Con-way we are seeing freight levels not seen in almost ten years. Keep up the good work! To bad you can't come work here..... You are required to actually work though and you will more than likely sweat and get dirty. I know this is frowned upon in the union.

  • I work my ass off for a small union construction company. I am highly qualified and talented according to me and my peers. I will be old and broken someday probably, but atleast I will have insurance and a pension. In other words a decent standard of living. I will optimistically hope that you can extrapolate the essence of a union when I tell you: that my boss just built a 6 million dollar house. I believe he deserves it completely. He believes I deserve my union wages.

  • Its natural that the best workers of any labor force be drawn to more money better benefits better treatment. That is the smart path to take. That is usually, usually union oriented. It is also natural for some union workers in comfortable situations to become complacent and lazy. Taking advantage of the very devices that aid them. Undermining what makes a union strong. I also frown upon this like everyone else does. All systems have loop holes. All orginizations have vices.

  • The bad side of unions is a far cry from the virtues. Unions are the father of the 8 hour work day. Unions are on the frontlines for workers rights. Things such as safe work environments insurance and decent wages. If you can't understand how union wages affect non union wages for the better than I'm done trying to talk to you anyway.

  • Unions are historically good in many aspects. The few have named above are the original cause of unions to be formed. That is great. They are getting a little out of hand I would say. They are getting involved in way to much other shit nowadays. You have to vote for who they endorse? That is a bunch of crap.

  • You vote for who your union endorses because that is the "unity" that makes it a union and not just a group of guys. That's how we work the system and get politicians to play ball with us instead of corporate lobbyists. We represent a lot of votes and we trade those votes for what we want.

  • My comment refers to trucking unions like the teamsters. Who apparently have some crap set up with some of the local pd's around here. I have no comment when it comes to trades like construction and steelworkers. You really need unions with jobs like that.

Trucking is heavily regulated by DOT and various other state and federal agencies.

  • @seconddoug That's what's happening to you union workers.

  • @seconddoug Oh yes cuz actually working to get paid is so much to do for you lazy bitches. Its fucked up how someone in a unions complains about getting paid little but then skips work for no reason for weeks at a time but can come back to work with no problems. This country is getting pathetic no wonder companies take there factories overseas, sooner or later military personnel will want unions.

  • dont like unions FIND A JOB WITHOUT ONE !!! if you dont like unions go to a place that dose dose not have one end of story

  • dont like unions FIND A JOB WITHOUT ONE !!! its time to use the republicans talking points on them

  • What this country needs is more unions. Unscrupulous employers are using the recession to cut wages and benefits. Most anti union people want the American worker to work for poverty wages with no health insurance. Unions helped the American working man to achieve middle class status.

  • Don't like what you're being paid or how you're treated? Find another job, move to where the better jobs are, get an education and upgrade your skill set and make yourself smarter and more valuable to employers, or start your own business. That's how it's done dumbass, not by cowardly hiding behind some corrupt, Marxist, mafia-infested union. It'll be a great and happy day for America when unions are gone forever! FUCK THE UNIONS!!!!

  • You sound like a typical repig union hater. Unions are needed now more than ever to protect American workers from unscrupulous employers who think the American worker should accept a third world standard of living. Oh yeah asshole I work for myself.

  • Don't want a 3rd world standard of living? Then get a fucking education and learn a fucking skill or trade. Make yourself smarter and more valuable to employers. Or start your own business.

  • and quit swearing if u profess christ

  • Newsflash retard- I own my own automotive shop and do quite well- a $600,000 house with swimming pool, a cottage on Lake Michigan, a Harley, a Hummer, a Z28, a Porsche, a 1978 Mustang, an Indian bike. Bet you'll be crawling to me for a job when your employers decides to tell you union apes to fuck off and give your jobs to the Mexicans, gooks and dotheads.

  • and you act like this btw do u follow those labor laws u wish to get rid of? i bet U HAVE NO CHOICE and look if you treated your employees the way u said u want to (hitting them on the job) THEY WOULD KILL U!!!!!

remember darrel jesus dose not swear (says so in the bible or quarn same ass wipeing paper)

  • see a simple answer (all i ask for) but it dose beg a quick follow up, wont no labor laws allow employeers to abuse enployees and the labor market in general?

  • Unfortunantly, some employers aren't that nice.

  • fair enough

see all i ask is for strait answers

    thx

  • Sacrificing the environment for industrial and commercial gains. Just you wait, the earth's going to die with your kind of ideology.

lol @ ur lil racist comment... "they took our jobs"... what a noob

  • No dreams dumbass, I have them. I'll leave the dreams to the libturds like you.

  • lol sure u do... keep dreaming homeboy... u never know, one day all of that might come true

  • You little piece of shit. Unions are created to run the money through the system so the workers think it goes towards their pension. Unions should disappear.

  • Unions will help the people who are being taken advantage of by unscrupulous employers taking advantage of the current economic situation. Go unions! Fuck the repigs who oppose workers rights!!

  • fuck you scab

  • it's a Billy Bragg song.

    "Which Side Are You On?"

  • lazy??? hahaha this fuckin rat worker... u know ur dream is to become a union worker... but ur a fuckin idiot that cant pass the test to become a union member... stay gettin paid ur bullshit scab wages with ur horrible benefits

  • GM - GOvernment MOtors!

    1. It is with sad irony that the company which invented "planned obsolescence" -- the decision to build cars that would fall apart after a few years so that the customer would then have to buy a new one -- has now made itself obsolete.

    2. It refused to build automobiles that the public wanted.

    3. Refused to build cars that got great gas mileage, were as safe as they could be, and their cars are uncomfortable to drive.

GM and the UAW got EXACTLY what they deserve..

  • wats the song??? i would love it for our union

  • This SHOULD be part of history education in our country. Most kids have no clue what it took to get 40 hour work weeks, child labor laws, safe working environments. All they here is "unions aren't needed anymore" sick lies about "union bosses" and "thugs," and the facts are buried.

  • How could The MOnster forget the Union workers? They are:

    1. Fat

    2. Uneducated

    3. Lazy

    4. Demanding

    5. Grossly unproductive

    6. Lack any sort of creativity or ingenuity.

    7. They've destroyed American business, and the long-standing pride that comes with "American-Made"

  • Going to spam every message about workers with your sleazy lies?

  • Yes.

  • If it wasn't for unions: You MIGHT get 1, MAYBE 2 days off work a year, depending on the employer. You'd be paying $500+ a month for health insurance, meaning you probably wouldn't have it. You'd be working 12-18 hours a day, 6 days a week, and 10-18 hours on Sunday, in unsafe hazardous conditions, with few/no safety protections for a fraction of what you make now- if you become ill or injured on the job, your "compensation" would be to get fired & replaced with an uninjured worker.

  • CONTINUED

If you're hurt or killed on the job, tough shit. To your surviving family, more of the same. We'd still have kids as young as 5 working in the mines and factories alongside their parents and older siblings.

I agree that unions, like all large organizations, have their problems and are long overdue for an overhaul, but overall do more good than harm. At the very least, they give the worker a measure of balance and recourse against overly greedy & abusive employers.

  • 1Yeah, all of the NFLplayers are obese2LMFAOTell that to the teachers!3There's a few. They don't last long on any job I'm running. If my employer doesn't make money, I'm out of a paycheck.4Demanding the best-you're right 5That's why we have to work through skill and busting our asses to justify our wages AND(see answer to #3)6Yeah,YOU should try to figure out how to rig & install a nuclear reactor.7I have an entire list of proud Union contractors who would tell you what a foolish remark that was.

  • I have a friend in W VA coal mining country. The mines there used to be UMWA with good pay and benefits, who made sure the mining companies followed the labor laws. Under Reagan, the mines closed and reopened under a stipulation- no union, no grievances, no overtime, and half pay with no benefits or protections. Safety measures fell by the wayside. Nobody in their right mind will go underground to work in such hazardous conditions for what the CO's paying now, so they bring in illegals.

  • The Co puts them up 30-50 to a house, with some of them sleeping on the porch, allows them little if any interaction with the locals, and with safety protections largely gone, one of the mines had a cave-in a couple years ago with only 1 survivor, who was trapped underground with the miners who died for several days. You may have read about it or seen it on the news. Those miners might still be alive if the mines were still union.

  • unions are great and yes thats why we have labor laws and we dont have sweat shops everywhere,

  • you union clowns make me laugh. Instead of bitching how non-union jobs screw over workers, how about using your union powers and lobby the government to improve labor laws? or is that too much a threat to unions?

  • It was the unions who fought for those laws in the first place. We probably wouldn't have them if it wasn't for the unions.

  • if there are labor laws, why have a union? or is the current labor laws insufficient to protect employees? if it is, why not use the unions to lobby the gov. and improve labor laws?

I'm not talking about what's in the past, I'm talking about the present.

  • It was the unions who fought for those laws. It's usually the unions who make sure the laws are followed. If the unions disappeared, how long do you think it'd be before corporate lobbyists and their right wing pals in Congress and state legislatures started working to get those laws rolled back if not repealed altogether, or at the very least watered down so far they won't matter? The government has done a poor job of enforcing those laws unless the unions prodded it.

  • For example, Bush's picks for the Labor Board reclassified hourly workers as managers to avoid paying them overtime, so they might work 60-90+ hours a week but only get paid for 40. If the Labor Board could get away with that with unions in place, imagine what they could do if unions were gone.

  • Anti Union people are scum. Just look at the sick things they are writing here on this video.

  • darrell, do us upport slavery?

  • If it wasn't for unions; you might get 1, MAYBE 2 days off work a year depending on the employer, you'd be paying $500+ a month for health insurance, meaning you likley wouldn't be able to afford it, you'd be working 12-18 hour workdays in hot, unsafe, horrid conditions for a fraction of what you make now- if you're hurt on the job, your "compensation" would be to get fired and replaced with an uninjured worker,...

TO BE CONTINUED ON NEXT COMMENT

  • CONTINUED

....your children as young as 5 would likely be working alongside you, if you're hurt or killed on the job, tough shit- to your surviving family, more of the same.

I agree that unions, like al large organizations, have their problems and are long overdue for a thorough overhaul. but overall do more good than harm. At the very least, they give the worker a measure of balance and recourse against overly greedy and abusive employers.

  • I have a noble Idea for the economy!!! let businesses pay workers what they're worth so that worker's will have incentive to become of greater worth!!! abolish minimum wage!!! if a person is too lazy to take advantage of the taxpayer provided school system for the betterment of his/her self (which is how the taxpayers prop up society in the first place) why should taxpayers do it again through welfare and a blow to their economic prosperity.

  • We have college graduates, many with advanced degrees, who are working at McDonald's or WalMart, because the jobs they trained for got eliminated, shipped overseas, or given to foreign guest workers willing to do those jobs for a fraction of what Americans can afford to live on and the fast food/WalMart jobs were all that were available. And that's when the college grads don't have to compete with illegals willing to do those jobs for $5 an hour or less.

  • Or aren't being rejected for those jobs as "Overqualified" or "overeducated". Anything paying significantly over minimum wage requires some kind of post secondary education, and if minimum wage is abolished, most people won't be able to afford tuition for classes. Also ending min wage would leave nothing to keep unscrupulous business owners from taking advantage of their workers and paying them less than $50 a week- well below what it costs to live.

  • Who sing's this song?

I'm a proud Union worker (IBT) Local 651

  • 1887 - Railroad (Union); 1908 - Steelworker (Union); 1947 - Autoworker (Union); 1966 TEAMSTER [Under Sir Hoffa - My Dad]; 1987 - UFCW.

IF any "R" has got a problem, get in my face.

*All I need is an orator, I will write the speeches to begin an economic labor union movement.

My respect and condolences go to the Hoffa family.

I hope to see all my Union brothers and sisters in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania SOON. MAY GOD BE WITH US ALL, we are the privileged. S.Z. (S.J.)

  • and to chi2cal... just because im makin over 40 dollars an hour... plus an additional 10% because im pushing work for my company is no reason for u to be upset and jealous... its not my fault that us union workers r still employed while this non-union scabs r livin on unemployment because their company has been outta work for over a month... i worked non-union... i know both residential and commercial... i seen it all... non-union is a joke... cant believe people hire these guys to do work

  • This caused a need for credit and borrowing. So our economy is now based on borrowing and consuming, instead of saving and producing.

  • Unions DESTROY every the economy. The union workers wanting to be paid like the CEO's has pushed jobs over seas, and helped create the mess we are in now. When these business shipped jobs over seas so they could stay profitable, the amaerican economy turned into a service economy instead of a manufacturing economy. which would be fine, but you cant export near as many services as you can products. So the U.S. has had MASSIVE trade deficits for years now.

  • ADlibertyRp, you non union guys destroy the U.S. you guys work for shitty pay and are push overs, while your poor, the company you work for makes millions off you and that sets examples for other companys to have non union workers, while union guys make decent wage to live and have decent bennys and skilled job training.Unions have been around for over hundred years. Were the reason you guys have lunch brakes, weekends off work because we fought for it.The reason companys go over seas is so

  • Bobboo from India works for $1.20 an hour. They want the rich to stay rich and the poor to stay poor. You, Adlibertyrp,ur destroying america blaming us for the crooks in washington, the banks that gave out bad loans, crooks on wall street, you and they are fuckin up the economy, we are not.Why don't try watchin the news you fuckin cocksucker! So why don't you get fucked in the ass like everyone else who talks shit about Unions, you fuckin peace of shit, your the scum of the earth, I wish I could go

  • you obvisouly are not very well read in economis matters. Sure on the surface it looks like greed is what caused the economic crises. But you and all the statist liberals are afraid to lookany deeper, to see that the problems with the economy were created by the government undermining the economy. With things like the Community Reinvestment act, Fiatmonetary system, gvernment sponsored enterprises like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and too much regulation and overwhelming taxes.

  • Back in time and give your fuckin cunt, whore of mother some fuckin condoms!

  • For one thing lets keep this converation above slandering he others mother. For another i never said i have a problem with unions, but I DO have a problem with them getting special privileges over the business under the law. And im not a union worker because i have an iq over 50and got a job that takes REAL skill, so i dont need the unions help to get a good paycheck. :)

  • wow... well to be in the sheet metal union that im apart of... u need skill... we fabricate our own material... mostly by hand... so that does take some skill... cause not everybody can make the fittings, spiral duct, saddles, plenums, and so on like us highly trained and skilled sheet metal craftsmen

  • how long did you train for?

  • 5 years of schooling... and training everyday... there is something new to learn everyday on the job site

  • congratulations, im very proud of you. that aside. Do you think its OK that the Government provides special privileges to unions over businesss. That is one of the biggest problems in our economy is that businesss must pay more for labor capital than it would be worth on the free-market, because unions get special treatment.

  • special privileges??? i dont think that... i just believe that they would rather hire well skilled workers... and by being working union, thats exactly what u r... why would they hire some non union scab worker??? i know i wouldnt want to... very unprofessional workers and not well trained

  • Well if business really wanted unions how do union busters get jobs. And yes they get special privileges under the law.

  • because they dont wanna pay top dollar for skilled workers... so they go the scab route... it has a lot to do with politics thats y majority of these buildings that go up r done by union workers... union sheet metal, carpenters, plumbers, pipe fitters, fire sprinkler fitters, laborers, painters, iron workers... y not go union??? best thing i have ever done... im livin really well... better than any scab company thats going under right now payin their workers bullshit money

  • So do businesss have that much of a choice of who works for them, and do they have any choice once the union comes into their buisness.

  • i believe so... y wouldnt they?

  • i dont understand if you have so much skill and your services are in a high demand why do you need union to pressure and threaten people to get more money . union members always say this is what we deserve but if you cant get it in a free market then you really dont deserve it. unions are a blight on society i refused to join one in the hospital i work in. people complain about the price of healthcare.you pay somone twenty five dollars an hour to empty garbages i wouldent pay them five an hour.

  • when i worked in construction a union job got bid out to the company i worked with. It took the union sixteen people to do what it took the company i worked for six people it was a shame because all that excess was passed of to the consumer

  • ok... i belong to a brotherhood... not teamsters or whatever they r for what ur doing... they think we deserve more money for what we do... what i do is make peoples lives easier... what i do cools them down on a hot day... what i do warms them up on a cold day... its a necessity(sp?) people need it! but that isnt the only thing us union sheet metal workers deal with... gettin paid over 40 dollars and im still in my 20's... shit life couldnt be any better lol

  • What don't you understand? If its acceptable for business to maximise its potential then why can't workers? Because it's the 'way of things' for middle class suits to do as they please but not ordinary people? I don't understand why you don't understand that workers can play the game of capitalism too. "yes but..." No buts.

  • i am middle class and beleive me i cant do as i please. capitalism is when both parties volunterily agree. Not when you threaten to destroy a party financially if they dont cooperate with you. lets pretend everyone was in a union the people at mcdonalds would make twenty dollars an hour. the cost of everything would inflate. if you dont make alot of money it means you dont have marketable skills not my problem go to school.

  • Statistics show that union membership is up. A sign that the working man is soo fucking tired of being pushed and pushed by you overbearing white collar know it alls in the office. Beleive me, the times are coming when all the middle class will fire back at the bankers, managers, and corrupt syatem that tries to supress them. We are more powerful than you pencil pushers can EVER hope to be. BTW, your wives LOOVE blue collar guys, while you golf, we fuck your ol ladies behind your backs. ALLTHE TIME

  • boobymac2007 sounds like a pissed off under paid scab. Want some cheese to go with that whine, rat bastard.

  • No loser..I am a business owner...far better off than you...

  • What makes you so sure that you are better off? You are obviously the uneducated one here. I am in the union. I went to my trade school school one 8hr. day and two 4 hr. nights after work every week for four years. I do pay for my health care-7.97per hour, my pension-8.22 per hour. I don't get paid vacations and I take two fifteen minute breaks and one half hour lunch. And as far as you being a business owner, you must not be very successful being that you are so easily blinded from the truth.

  • All of you union peeps are a bunch of lazy, uneducated whores...you should all be lined up and shot.

  • lol really??? in order for u to get into the union... u have to take a series of test... and if u dont pass the test... well u obviously cant get into the union... its not our fault that u couldnt get into the union cause ur an idiot... we have the best PROPER training, and 5 years of schooling... we r true craftsmen... so fuck u scab fuck heads... all of u r upset because u dont have the same great wages we have or health benefits u scab

  • I am not a scab and would never belong to a union...

You go right ahead and keep kidding yourselves that you deserve your ridiculous pay and benefits...and that you make America go.....All you do is sit around screwing off, taking your 15 minute breaks every hour and threaten to strike if you don't get more health care or 4 more days of vacation like a bunch of children. ALL OF YOU ARE A BLIGHT ON SOCIETY.

  • yeah sure scab... funny how u think u know what ur talkin bout... if u havent belonged to a union... then y r u speakin on at as if u have a clue whats going on??? i was a piece of shit low paid scab before... and got into the union... and damn near got a 9 dollar raise from what i was makin... i got the proper on the job training that i deserved and 5 years of schooling... at my company we take 1 30 minute break and no bullshit lil 15 minute break... so hate all u want cause ur still a scab

  • Go Back To MEXICO You Fuckin' COMMIE WETBACK!!!!!!

  • hahaha ur an immigrant just like i am... there is no such thing as a pure 100% white person... just because its the color of ur skin doesnt mean u r

  • some one should tell billy brag that the laws have stopped the trde unions in Engeland. Union s sold out the miners, the printers the liverpool dockers and a host of other smaller disputes because the unions did not break the law. so billy your fuckin wrong.

  • The facts in this video seem to piss the anti-union lobby, many of which are here, off. let me tell you cretins a little secret, "Psst. you're never going to be a CEO. Your idiot daddy lied to you and he's never going to be one either. Aww. Sorry. That's how the robber barons of our society get away with what they are doing. They let the uneducated all think anyone can and that workers rights and unions are the problem when they are the only reason we have a Middle class in this country, period.

  • Straight to the point! I couldn't have said it better myself. Thanks Priceman420.

  • np, dawilli1! Thanks for the video!

  • If it weren't for the unions you would have to work on the week ends for low pay,and no one would care about your safety.Think on this next time you wont to bash the union. Our pay sets the standards for the non union guys if our pay was low so would yours because companies have to be competitive to stay in business. Oh and by the way LABOR DAY IS A UNION HOLIDAY think on that next time your off that day sipping down a cold beer, hypocrite. when I retire I wont be flippin bergers. just relaxing

  • The only thing unions set the standard for is fraud, theft, and extortion.

It's the worker's responsibility to look out for theiur own safety, not the employers'.

The only thing unions and labor laws have done is force up production costs above market value and force companies overseas to stay in business.

  • That came from a guy who wants to ban rock music.

  • Yeah you must be right Darrelfromretardland we should go back to working for just enough to buy canned beens and live in a tin shack down by the river, then we can compete with those indians. You F---ing Moron
