I show pigs in the summer and sadly then we do sell them off for food, but we take them to a place where they do everything properly. it isn't crazy for a person to get attached to an animal they have that they show. in order for you to be able to show your animals properly you need to have a good relationship with them.
Treating animals well simply isn't odd even if you are raising them for food as part of a normal human omnivore diet. The health problems a vegan diet brings are numerous and frankly their apparent lack of a sense of humour is perhaps a by-product of this.
That is terrible you would kill them. Totally unnecessary to kill animals when you can eat plants - which provide you all your nutrients. Education about nutrition is key. I feel bad these pigs loved you yet were murdered.

This is video is a vivid example of how people can be crazy enough to 'love' animals ( oh, what a hypocrisy ) and then in the next moment go to the other extreme, kill them and eat them. What a moral degradation.... It was so eerie when she called them by their names...Porkpie and Sausage. Oh, that was a real expression of love... revolting !
