Gambit & Jin were my go-to team. I'd go to the casinos on the strip when I was a kid and kick the shit out of kids from all over the country whose parents were gambling downstairs. My cousin and I were little bastards. We'd play air hockey until the machine turned off b/c neither of us could score on the other. We were badass at so many games. People would challenge us and we'd just dominate them. Adults too. There wasn't much to do growing up in Vegas in the 90's so we hung out in the arcades.

I bought my Genesis because of Pit Fighter. But the SNES version was near unplayable, one of the crappiest fight games I ever played.

Dreamcast was and always will be the greatest 2D beat em up machine...these kinda games looked awesome on DC. PS2 couldnt even pull of these kinda sharp crystal clear textures.

Really? Last time I checked the Dreamcast versions of Street Fighter 3 Third Strike and Street Fighter Alpha 3 couldn't hold a candle to the PS2 versions. The Dreamcast couldn't even beat it's predecessor, the Sega Saturn when it came to 2D fighters let alone the PS2.

Oh and fun little fact, the Dreamcast version of MVC1 isn't arcade perfect.

As I said, Dreamcast couldn't even surpass the Saturn in the 2D department. Do I consider it to be the best retro console of all time? Yes, but in it's heyday it was pretty much a jack of all trades, that coupled with all of Sega's prior bullshitting and how easy it is to play burned games, it's no surprise that it never took off.

I think there should adleast in the future be a Sega crossover. Yes, it'll have to wait until AFTER MvC3, SFxT, TxSF and also apparently the guys from Capcom want to make a 3rd Capcom Vs SNK game too, but Sega had decent fighters. Virtua Fighters, Fighting Vipers are obvious, but if I'm not mistaken, doesn't Tecmo have something to do with Sega, meaning they could use DOA characters...? Also, on the matter of SFxT, it shouldve been Capcom X Namco so Soul Calibur could go up against Darkstalkers.
