Here Vidya is quite graceful...Although she isnt a trained dance she is quite graceful..but still nowhere compared to Shobana. The Malayalam original version was a classic.

You guys should see the original...its called Manichitravazhu released in 1993.. Shobana enacted the role and her dance was simply classical...she being a trained classical dancer..by far she in the original was the best! Infact it was done in Kannada with Soundarya who danced fairly well...In tamil called Chandramukhi and Jothika danced ok well she isnt a trained dancer so we couldnt expect much...

i completely agree with zippy... this is probably one of my most favorite classical songs right now, and vidya balan did a damn good job at it too. This was her first time showcased like this before and man can she dance. She never got the opportunity til now....

And Vineeth is just off the hook! very talented, graceful, and elegant. Absolutely amazing.

Although I am not a huge fan of the Tamil and Telegu (or was it Kannada?) versions of the song. They didnt impress me as much as these did.

this song is really mind blowing. the male cast or dancer in this song is VINEETH. He is a classical dancer. moreover he is not only given given chance 2 expose his talent in this but also in tamil. Undoubtedly jyo danced well too but the difference is all in d song and jathis. in this song there are too many jathis and in tamil it is not. i think u never saw jyo's expression it is awesome and even vidya is good in her own ways..
