  • i cracked up when i learned there was an actual league for this. seems fun to just go and fuck around though.

  • whats the gun that they use???

  • is there an age limit for the tournaments

  • @scooterz27 The first division is 8-12 year olds, and the other is 13-17. So, within those ranges.

  • I might just make a team and sign up lol.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • is the 2010 games over?

  • @JHandiprodutions absolutely not the ones fore Vegas are in October I know I'm in them

  • @JHandiprodutions Vax is right! Vegas is ready to go in a week or so, make sure to check out the spinoff channel, "FoamFromAbove" for more recent vids!

  • @VideoNinjas what about 2011 in oregon will there be one in 2011?

  • @VideoNinjas of course I'm right I'm awesome but they postponed vegas til friday but oh well friday works better than thursday. how bout you you in the tournament?

  • Is it canada, nova scotia?

  • I'm entering my team... Nerf Titan Squad. Members: Rob Shultz, Dimitri Dolgove AKA ddude987, Derek Fleming, Billy Littman, and Dennis Remsburger!!

  • How do u enter NDTLs in las Vegas navada

  • @retha00 Where you can play in the NDTL depends on where the Summer Mt. Dew Action Sport Tour stops this year. Last year it started in Chicago, and went all over. The stops for this year haven't been announced yet, so no telling if Vegas is going to be an NDTL stop this year. I've heard March 8th is when they'll make an announcement though, so keep your eye on the links I've posted!

  • where did it happen i don't want the month i want to know what state or contry it happened

  • Chicago, IL. It was the first stop on the Mt. Dew Action Sport Summer Tour, the BMX 6.0.

  • Any ladies out there ever want to be a "FoammeFatale"? Check out FoamFromAbove to find out!

  • I played in tournement it was sweet

  • do you have to pay to be in it if how much?

  • @superherofan1 I only played in the scrimmages, not the tournament itself. I don't believe there was an entry fee, and to go to the Festival Village itself was free. If you go to the official NDTL page I noted in the video, there's a bunch more info!

  • Comment removed

  • @superherofan1 There's no fee to participate in the Nerf Dart Tag World Championship or Dart Tag tournaments! You can get more details and see more videos by following the link in the video above or going to the Nerf YouTube channel.

    Great vid, @VideoNinjas!

  • FUCKING FUNNY!!!!

  • nice nerf ctf

  • I went both days, and this is footage cut together from both. The folks were uber nice about letting me film.

  • your really nice

  • Hah! Glad you had a good time! Here's hoping it comes back bigger and badder next year...

  • When I found out there was one in Chicago that I didn't know about I was SO MAD!!!

  • My friend was on the winning team at this one.

  • NERF provides everything and each participants that is pre-registered gets 2 free tickets to the Dew Tour for the day of the tournament. The first 8 team or 32 kids in each age group that pre-register(fax the team registration form and wavier) are the ones who will be competing in the tournament. The winning team in each age group(8-12 & 13-17) will compete on Saturday against the winning teams from each city on the Dew Tour for $25,000 in the NERF Dart Tag World Championships.

  • will they do it in oregon

  • They did! The 3rd stop of the tour was in Portland. If you check out the official nerf website URL in the info box to this vid and I believe the Portlan video is still up.

  • Keep a look out this thurs. for 1nfiltrate hopefully our team will be competing in orlando

  • Did you guys already pre-register for the tournament? If not make sure you get online and download the forms and fax them in. It's only the first 32 kids that pre-register that get to compete. All the forms can be found on Hasbro's website.

  • Unfortunately no, there was no Dew Tour stop in California so no NDTL stop there. Sorry! Florida's the last stop on the Tour, coinciding with the big Dew Tour finals in Orlando.

  • lol how old to you have to be im 14 and can run a 4.7

  • i might register for it.

  • where is thsat

  • This event was in Chicago. The next and final event is going to be in FL!

  • aww man! i have to wait until next year if they have it next year.

  • Can you bring your own gun ?

  • Unfortunately no, they provide you with a furyfire to use during the round. They also give you a jersey and you'll be using dart tag ammo.

  • Do you get to keep a gun jersey or darts?

  • Sadly, no. Everything you use including goggles stays with them. HOWEVER, when you sign up for the NDTL at a tour they have been known to hand out Nerf wristbands and a temp tattoo. This was back in July tho, things might have changed for other stops since then.

  • same thing but insted of ali sports its ytv

  • orange pwns all

  • Nerf is cooler than airsoft. Nerf darts are more similar to real bullets.

  • i wish i can go but i cant. I AM IN HAWAII!

  • sigh, the closest one is in chicago.

mabe next year i can go.

  • no i think its from ytv wow and thats only in canada. but tell me what american show will host that and its not insault i whant to now

  • ... What?

  • well in canada ytv dose this

  • Sorry pug kid! Hit the wrong button. Yes, the arena was small but considering the ranges of the stock blasters it was all relative. The cover really made it work. Did you play in one yet?

  • thats awsome nerf is the new paintball

  • it's a completely different game

  • im tired of hearing people say that nerf is better than airsoft and paintball or the otherway around. i play all 3 and like them all

  • lmao. I bet a singled Big Blast or Titan could easily pierce a hole in the inflatable obstacles.

This event seems a lot of fun. However, to need 3-4 shots to hit someone 1 foot away is weak.

  • the obstacles were pretty sturdy, but those blasters in particular would pierce anything. Needless to say, I think they'd see those from a mile away, hehe.

See, that craziness was what made things so fun! It was manic with stock blasters inside such closed spaces and with the adrenaline pumping it gets tough for people to keep a steady aim. Even out on normal fields it can get crazy when you think you're in a crossfire. Also keep in mind, shots HAD to stick to the jersey to count as hits.

  • I may be able to attend the one in Boston.

What activities were there besides the NDTL game?

  • That was it in Chicago. People could get in line and scrimmage. We were also allowed to sign up for the NDTL mailing list and got a NERF sweatband out of it. But either you were playing or you weren't. Otherwise, for sure take pics if you can and let me know how it went!

  • Oh. I was reading on Nerf Haven that the Boston one was taking place at a skatepark so I was wondering if there would be a skate show. probably the only way I could get my brothers to come.

  • Oh hahahaha, I thought you meant nerf related activities. Yeah, dude there were TONS of other things to do. The nerf arena was just one thing inside Festival Village, a larger sideshow to the Mt. Dew Sport tour. PS3 had a booth set up, I think microsoft too, and lots of freebies to grab. Of course, the BMX competition got under way and there was that to watch, even if you didn't have a ticket. I even saw myself on mtv2's coverage, it was hilarious. I guess Boston has the skate event then!

  • Haha! Thanks for the info. I almost got my brothers convinced( they think nerfing is stupid so it's kinda hard). If I do go I'll be sure to record and take pics. Thanks for everything.

  • The only thing is trying to get a nerf blaster past the front-gate security. I wouldn't suggest it!

  • It looks spring powered because it only takes 1 pump to shoot.

  • Great fun, that was. And all the free Mountain Dew did not hurt either, haha.

The area is too unwieldy for modded guns, I wouldn't push it.

  • Where was this?

    Thanks

    Finn

  • Howdy! it was in downtown Chicago, near the lakefront in Grant Park at Balbo and Columbus.

  • what guns are those?

  • The Furyfire, a new fall blaster for Nerf Dart Tag.

  • sweet
