  • this is so amazing! .. absolutly ledgendery!!! .. has put the biggest smaile on my face ever :D xxx

  • 27 second post....

  • 1:03 if you wanna get right to it

  • i think i just fell in love.... with that mans held out note!!!!

  • Have these guys gotten a record deal yet? I would definitely buy their stuff!

  • I didn't think it was possible to circular breathe when singing lol

  • @Tgoon1 its not hahah

  • @MLeeemily wish it was... Supernote winnerrrr ;P

  • Holy longest note ever!!!!

  • I've been wondering. Is Eric usually singing in falsetto, or is his voice just that pure and mellifluous?

  • @Sylvanas590... lol... yes. gorgeous voice.

  • no falsetto for the most of it... hes just got that smooth sound to his head voice

  • and also, his transition from chest to head voice is flawless, you can't hear the break, which makes it hard to tell the difference sometimes

  • 38 second G# - PERFECT.

  • *28 second

  • What a hanger!

  • Exactly how many shades of purple did Tim turn on that last note? :)

  • oh my god these guys are AMAZING! <3

  • tim is a super mutant he has 30 lungs! but he is amazing

  • Remember kids!! Don't smoke!

  • So... amazing...

  • I wish there was a MTV channel just for barbershop! You'd be the biggest stars...

  • I just fell in love with the quartets. Awesome job. Thank you so much.

Though, I couldn't think of "101 Dalmations" when I was listening. The rewrite was somewhat different than what I expected.

  • WOW!!!!!! That was awesome and the note at the end was the icing on the cake!!!

  • Agreed. Why do people thumbs down things that are true?

  • very nice tenor!!

  • TIM WUARICK IS A gOD!!!!!

  • oh dear god...i don't have a pipe right now, does anyone know what note tim was holding?

  • G i think

  • it was a G#/Ab

  • tag at the beginning it was a F#, end it was a G#

  • What are you talking about? It was G# to start, and G# at finish.

  • @Sylvanas590 no it wasn't, it started in Ab, and ended in G#...get it right.

  • @Linkthe3rd you're not funny

  • @sansburni I thought it was pretty funny Ian =P

  • @Linkthe3rd you do realize those are Enharmonic keys right????

  • @JSUTrumpet I think he's aware. Note his later comment of "I thought it was pretty funny"

  • My name is chris and I sing bass too

  • Damn. They are my favorite. For sure. Followed by OC Times.

  • Yeah for tenors!!!

  • Wow, that was phenomenal! Does anyone know who the arranger of this piece is?

  • I believe it's a David Wright arrangement.

  • Thanks!

  • I mean, left.

  • sure is :)

  • Is that a clean shaven Tim Waurick on the right?

  • Would you really want your co-singer to turn purple from a long note like that? :)

  • What are you talking about? The chorus was in B major. They remained perfectly in tune throughout the song. These guys are pro. They're not going to accidentally slip up a semitone half way through.

  • Just out of curiosity, since they did it this way at internationals, isn't it possible that they just choose to "modulate" it up or simply go up the step for the sake of the blend? Not trying to be an instigator.

  • I think I can see what you mean actually. They modulate into C major at 2:47. Then they sing the chours in G# at 3:38.

They are consistantly in tune though.

  • HOLY SHIT!!!! longest held note ive ever heard

  • very well-polished sound. absolutely EVERY chord rings. that's amazing.

  • Awesome ! :D

  • props to the dude on the far left man way to not pass out

  • Anyone else notice how Jonni almost tripped at the beginning of the song? That would have sucked.

  • lol thats true!!!

  • Hahaha awesome! Show them how its done guys, especially Tim Whoop, lungs of steel mate! x

  • Holy shit. The guys breath support at the end. Killer.

Each one of them is a beast though, for sure.

  • yeah I agree - the fact that he can hold it that long is huge, but what really impresses me is how perfect the lock is on the final chord - I mean even if I COULD hold a note that long, near the end my voice would be wavering and weak

  • And thats why he's the one gettin paid the big bucks lol

  • Yeah see, um, Tim is the man!!!! NO joke!! Love it!!!

  • Frickin awesome post by the tenor at the end!!

  • For the baseball fans out there, does anybody else think Chris Hallam (bass) looks exactly like Cincinnati pitcher Aaron Harang?

  • haha now that you say that i totally see it. i bet the bass pitches better tho haha

  • this is probably my favorite barbershop quartet. they have such beautiful harmonies and entertainment in the songs.

  • There isn't much to say here. This is a hard piece and it done great with just miniscule mistakes (maybe one). Very Very Good Job!!!

  • what amazing breath support and vocal capacity

i've never heard you guys before but all i can say is

    ...WOW!!

  • This is one of your best run through's.

  • 3:30 i mean

  • lol ya..

  • lol... 3:36 looks like Eric gives everyone the finger.

  • haha yeah, I thought he did at first until I went back

  • you know, these guys did it the right way, they won college, and then went mainstream. they paid their dues, and made a real name for themselves in the Harmony Society

  • The lead has such a perfect transition between his head and chest voices. Awesome.

  • Definitely! He doesn't try to "show up" the chord, so it stays ringing. These guys are the best champion quartet in a while, as their scores would indicate...

  • hey, lets not forget of the musicality of the other three members of VS. They all kick ass equally, just in different ways.

  • Ditto, as amazing as Tim is, the others are awesome. Eric without a doubt has one of the smoothest voices in the BHS, Johnny is pretty powerful as well-but blends so well with the others, and Chris has a lot of Jim Henry bass qualities making for a killer quartet.

  • I'm a diehard Gas House Gang fan, and even though I still thing GHG was the best ever, these guys are the best today.

    Tenor = Sickly amazing.

  • chris hallam reminds me of Dr. Phil..

  • But sings better than the doc.

  • i'm in heaven right now. the tenor rules anything that ever ruled.

  • I agree with rspaster Tim and Tony are the masters of post!

  • Tim Waurick and Tony DeRosa - kings of the post.

  • @rspaster You forgot Kipp and Jason January.

  • Great Tenor!!

  • Tim is incredible!!!

  • awesome

  • Damit, Timmy rules :)

  • Amen.
