@lysel3 - Innocent citizens have been harassed based on their skin color because they were suspected of being illegal as cops will charge someone with a misdemeanor (that is false and later gets tossed) in order to process them. Do you understand that? THAT IS ILLEGAL.

@chrisplotz - That is a statement not based on facts. If they were magically granted citizenship would they still be sucking the country dry? If so - then it's not illegal immigration that is doing that - it's something else, isn't it? Maybe you just dislike immigration in general and hide behind the legality issue because it's the closest to an arguable issue that can be made. And by the way - any immigration, legal or illegal, has always benefited the country - go talk with a historian.

@CaptainGreen2008 You obviously are very ignorant. When you go to court for a traffic ticket in the state of CA over 80% of the offenders are illegal Mexicans. They range anything from DUI's to running a stop sign. The are charge with driving without a license, insurance, registration and the original offense. They are asked if they got any corrections & the answer is no. They are then let off with minimal charges and set free. A legal citizen for speeding is charged double for 1 offense.

@CaptainGreen2008 They are allowed to get business licenses and not pay taxes on them and run business without the requirements of the state being met. Yet my business is subject to lawsuits and all sorts of fines if I do not meet the requirements because I am a legal citizen. There is no way to force them to pay taxes because they have no social security # and a green card is not good enough yet they are allowed to apply and receive SS benefits, medical, medicaid, medicare, & foodstamps.

Unfortunately, the Secure Communities program stores facial recognition photos for ALL citizens, as well as immigrants. In Nebraska, Florida, and most states it is a requirement RIGHT NOW that you get your face stored in DHS databases if you want a driver's license. This is supposed to be enacted in ALL states.

not paying taxes or social security why should we give them any rights when they don't have a right to be here and they don't even respect our country enough to pay taxes or anything else the rest of the actual citizens do, and to all the people who are legal here trying to fight for them to be here do you realize your destroying this country. & people wonder why there are no more jobs anymore and why our country is basically in a depression, think about it more people who don't pay taxes = no

tbh idc if they think it's racial profiling everyone in the united states gets asked for there id whe you get pulled over right and if you don't have proof your forced to get proof when you come to court aka showing you have the right to be in this country so why is it ok for them to do it to everyone else but not you because your an illegal hence the word everyone forgets ILLEGAL you don't get rights protection or any respect cause you don't respect our country by under bidding minimum wage

@defender8314 - The law clearly states that everyone in the US, citizen or not, is protected by the same laws as anyone else. This idea that this is not the case is not based on fact (look it up). Otherwise robbing tourist would be a bumper crop business.

As far as underbidding minimum wage - it's the US businesses recruiting workers from other countries. Look that up too - companies post job ads in other countries for work here.

I love how these people complain and say we will be scared to go to the cops cause were here illegally, if your here illegally you have no rights here your not from this country and you want us to respect you and treat you as you are when you pay no taxes drive illegally, I love how they try to change the subject back to the fact that YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE try to go to another country and get in illegally and see how they treat your ass when they catch you

@defender8314 - The law clearly states that everyone in the US, citizen or not, is protected by the same laws as anyone else. Otherwise robbing tourist would be very easy and profitable.

And yes - they do lay taxes. They also buy goods and services in the US which means money to us.
