THExMAj1KxMaN, on the other hand, states that he's going to reveal how a trick is done, and does just that. He never claimed to be a good performer; and he's not aiming to entertain.
It's the same as someone showing how the dinosaurs in "Jurassic Park" were created. Don't want to know? Then don't watch.

@theTartanTrickster - Making the spectators jump to the wrong assumptions is deceptive (which is the basis of magic), not dishonest. Flat out lying is the easy way out. You might as well use stooges and say you didn't (some "magicians" do that, too).
The people explaining how movie special effects are done aren't trying to do a "good performance". For that, go watch the actual movie. If you want to know how the effects are done, watch the explanation. Most people understand the difference.
