At least in Ontario and Quebec, it's written right into the Human Rights Code, and yes, the Human Rights Commission has gotten involved in cases of discrimination where women were asked to either cover up or leave. I nurse in public all the time, you can't hear ANY "suckling noises"....if you can, it means the baby is probably latched incorrectly! And I don't use a cover, but none of my breast is showing.

Why is acceptable to give a toddler "toddler formula", but not give them breast milk, which has SO many more benefits for them? And pumping it just isn't the same..never will be.

@fuzztanks Thanks for taking the time to comment. Please understand that we find anonymous posts online and recreate them for many reasons. We made this one because we knew there would be a healthy debate around breastfeeding and, honestly, it was so over the top that we found it hilarious. Personally, I have a one year old daughter and I didn't care where/when she was breastfed.
@fuzztanks It's hard to see this in the context of one episode of our show, but a lot of the anonymous posts we produce are chosen because they're dumb. The conversations about the rants happen in the comments and if you read through our responses, I think you'll see where we land on this issue. Your point has merit though, and we expected backlash about it. In the end, there were some hilarious lines that caught our ear and we thought it woud make a good episode. Thanks for responding!

While reading through the comments, I saw a lot of people talking about how women should't be breastfeeding in public, but in bathrooms instead. I see nothing but hate instead of support. It's not really a suprise, given the video. As a "breastfeeding mother", don't you think you should be fighting for a mothers rights rather then adding to the problem?

Breastfeeding isn't a sexual thing. Comparing it to your husband "mounting" you is ridiculous. Most women who nurse their children are VERY discreet about it. Stop staring at other women's chests (to see if they are holding a baby or not just holding a baby but possibly nursing one, because the position is very much similar and you know it) when you are dining out, pay more attention to the people sitting at your own table.

However, not all parents (men and women alike) make effort to conceal things they do in public when it would be more acceptable in private.
If being discreet is still getting noticed then it's failed -- less public areas are ideal; toilet cubacles in restaurants aren't restricted for only one use.

We made this one because we knew there would be a healthy debate around breastfeeding and, honestly, it was so over the top that we found it hilarious. The conversations about the rants happen in the comments and if you read through our responses, I think you'll see where we land on this issue. Breastfeeding isn't a sexual thing. Comparing it to your husband "mounting" you is ridiculous. Most women who nurse their children are VERY discreet about it. Stop staring at other women's chests (to see if they are holding a baby or not just holding a baby but possibly nursing one, because the position is very much similar and you know it) when you are dining out, pay more attention to the people sitting at your own table.

However, not all parents (men and women alike) make effort to conceal things they do in public when it would be more acceptable in private.
If being discreet is still getting noticed then it's failed -- less public areas are ideal; toilet cubacles in restaurants aren't restricted for only one use.

Feeding a baby is fine...but in a fucking restaurant in front of everyone where they have no option to 'flip the page' or 'change the channel'? Not so much. And when your baby gets hungry it won't die within the 2 minutes it might take you to return to your vehicle/home/whatever to whip out your tit in private.
