It used to be more like Glendale, but lower tier actually, a very nice mix of working class and upper middle class stores and crowd... that place was ALWAYS crowded... and felt alive... I still remember going up to the top floor to the movie theater there and waiting in line just enjoying being with the people there... what's there now is nothing like it, it turned into a McDevelopment Project. And I dunno but people have changed. Remember record stores?

Its weird I think that Nic Cage has been in a lot of movies but this one is his best in my mind. And this was before he became a huge star. I rank this up there with Fast Times At Ridgemont High and The Last American Virgin. My 3 favorite flicks of the early 80s.
