I am not one, myself, to have ever said that there isn't anything good out there. I can say that my heart will never quite be touched the same without Miss Pattie and so many voices like her. Thanks for that note of fairness to today's generation. Their music would never have existed without our generation.

Hello Avastacia, you are exactly right. When I was young I recognized timeless music when I heard it and this was one of those songs, and still today that song still sounds as good as the first few dozen times I listened to it. I have my mother and aunts and big cousins to thank for that. (You try playing real music for someone of a younger generation nowa days and they will think something is wrong with you). Real music permeates all generations and races if you just listen.
